Blue Path:

The Cinque Terre are five stunningly-located villages on the Liguria coast. All five are linked by the Percorso Azzurro footpath, which is more difficult in some places than others. The easiest stretch is the Via dell'Amore (Lover's Lane) from busy Riomaggiore to colourful Manarola. The path then climbs slightly towards the cliff-hugging Corniglia, followed by the fairly manageable stretch down to the picturesque promontory of Vernazza. The last stretch towards Monterosso al Mare is the hardest, with a steep climb and descent. Apart from walking, the Cinque Terre are also a good spot for diving, fishing or enjoying some of the local wine....
