    "incredibly charming hotel located in a very small and old village, very well preserved and full of atmosphere. The Aveyron region, famous for the blue cheese Roquefort, is very interesting for castles, old villages and nature. If you can, visit also the Perigord and his old small city Sarlat." (97100251)

    "We had been delighted with our stay at Les Magnolias in 2006 and looked forward to our return visit. Would it be as good as we remembered? Yes, absolutely. From arrival to departure, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. The choice and quality of the food was excellent.     "even though the location of the hotel seems a bit 'dingy' the hotel itself is immaculate, the room, the restaurant and the breakfast room were absolutely gorgeous - overall excellent value for money the staff were lovely and very accomodating the breakfast was lovely and the service excellent" (99658489)

    A Fabulous hotel in a beautiful part of the France. This was the best hotel in 4 weeks travelling through France.

    "We had a four night stay in October 2006. The hotel was of a very high standard, possibly the best hotel we've stayed in. We had a superior room which was very large and spacious and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.     Very high standard of decoration/fixtures and fittings. Exceptionally clean. Spacious well equipped bedroom and bathroom and lovely public areas.

    Although there was a mirror in the bedroom, this was very small. We would have appreciated a full length mirror. But that's being pickey!

    desayuno muy bueno, opcion de conectarse con internet ,el lugar es muy bonito .el trato muy cordial. los alrededores son muy bonitos

    si te quedas varios dias seria bueno que hubiera una mayor variedad de platos para cenar.

    Room was very well appointed. All recently refurbished. Very quiet.

    Dinner menu was a bit limited if staying for a few days, although the cooking was outstanding.

    "This is a beautiful hotel. I booked it because of the excellent reviews on the website and it certainly lived up to its reputation and beyond. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms and hotel are decorated and finished to a very high standard and are completly in keeping with the character of the building. It is immaculately kept. The food and wine were excellent and it was all extremely reasonably priced.     "Ancien indépendant et cuisinier pendant 45 ans. Je noterais surtout les points positifs, car à l'heure actuelle, l'hotellerie et la restauration sont des métiers où les gens négligent tant de choses. Ici dans l'ensemble ce n'était pas le cas, je noterais un petit 8 sur 10" (99432044)

    Dans la salle de bain une lampe à l'intérieur de la douche.Très dangereux.meme menu pour les 2 soirs. devrait avoir une petite carte pour ceux qui dinent plusieurs fois.un petit commis pour seconder la patronne en salle parlant le français. mais c'était excellent et conviviale

    Las gerentes del hotel, discretas y agradabilísimas. El sitio, tranquilo, bonito, cuidado. Las cenas y desayunos extraordinarios. Un descubrimiento.

    "Everything you would hope from a country hotel. Quiet location, beautifully renovated, tastefully decorated rooms and with an excellent restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, and with attentive staff. The room with breakfast was exceptional value, and it was good to find such a good restaurant that would supply a pichet of wine rather than a pricey half bottle." (3305007866)

    Location, external appearance and quality of room decor

    Rubber under sheets and lack of air conditioning, made for a hot night which required open windows, and church bells which rang twice around the hour made for some sleep interuption.

    "Avis plus que positif, deux années consécutives que nous nous arrêtons là... peut-être un peu loin de notre route vers l'Espagne(Millau), mais c'est un choix. Pour visiter les gorges du Tarn quelques jours, c'est aussi un bon plan...     "Il posto è immerso nel verde di un piccolo paese, dove si possono trovare pace e tranquillità totali. Forse è un po' lontano dai luoghi turistici e dalle città d'arte della zona, ma basta essere mattinieri (e ne vale la pena, perchè la colazione è ottima) per risolvere il problema.     "We went away for some peace and calm and the hotel provided this and much more. It was quiet although in the centre of a village. The garden was furnished with comfortable loungers under the shade of huge trees, magnolias of course and a chestnut or two. The food was excellent and menu very flexible indeed. All the staff were extremely friendly and created such a relaxed atmosphere." (3305048952)

    Spacious and uncluttered. In keeping with the area.

    Parking could be a slight problem but we used one space quite close by, otherwise there was some space a short walk away.

The facility is located in a small village in a very beautiful part of southern France--very hilly and very rural, but close enough to many interesting sites.     Hostellerie des Magnolias was a wonderful facility combining the charm of an old manor with the comfort of a fully modernized room. The dining experience was exquisite, both in terms of the food and the ambiance of the terrace dining area and the traditional dining room.

    Nothing. Perhaps air conditioning in our room would have been nice.

    beaucoup de charme, excellente restauration, personnel très sympathique, on y reviendrait volontiers

    de part sa situation isolée (agréable toutefois) et pour profiter ce calme pleinement, éventuellement ajouter un bassin ou une piscine pour que tout soit sur place!
