The Rhondda Valleys are transformed from being the centre of heavy engineering and mining, to being green and lush. They retain their sense of pride and traditional heritage, but combine it with a new optimism. Never has the phrase 'How green is my valley' been more appropriate.

Restaurants and Bars

The Loft Restaurant is not typical of a modern hotel, but once again reflects tradition and heritage. The intimate atmosphere, enhanced by the beamed features, provide an ideal setting for that 'Special Occasion' or quiet romantic meal. Many of the timbers originated from an old wharf warehouse on the waterfront of Cardiff docks. The Loft Restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, using only the freshest of local Welsh produce. The menu offers a wide range of modern and traditional cuisine together with many vegetarian dishes. The menu offers a superb wide range of modern and traditional cuisine together with many vegetarian dishes. Any dietary requirements are catered for and a children's menu is available. There is a no smoking policy in the Loft Restaurant.

Directions

From junction 32 of the m4, take the a470 Merthyr road. Follow the signs from Pontypridd junction to the Rhondda Heritage Park. The hotel is next door.
