With spectacular views of the lake and fells, it stands in 18 acres of parkland and gardens including nearly quarter mile of lake frontage. Privately owned and managed, it offers peace, pleasure and privacy.

Guests can relax in style in a choice of fine reception rooms with log fires in the winter. The 19 comfortable bedrooms are all individually decorated and furnished, many with special features. Directions

Leave the M6 Motorway at junction 40 and follow signs for A592 to Ullswater. At T junction at lakes edge, turn right and hotel is 1.25 miles along lakeshore, still on A592.
