All of the 75 en suite rooms are equipped with a desk, telephone, internet access, television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel’s Carriage Restaurant has large conservatory windows overlooking the hotel’s courtyard. The Conservatory Lounge is a light, relaxing area offering morning coffee, afternoon tea and an extensive bar menu.

The largest meeting room is The Flowers Theatre, a large and impressive purpose-built lecture theatre that can accommodate up to 125 people. The smallest room is the Whitworth Suite, which can seat up to 10 people in a boardroom-style layout. All of the conference rooms have natural lighting mixed with tasteful artificial lighting.

Room Details

The hotel has 75 modern and comfortable bedrooms. All of the rooms are furnished to an elegant standard with all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern 3-star hotel. Whether you are exploring the area as a tourist, visiting the region on business or attending a conference, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven.

Rooms suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility are available. The hotel also has full wheelchair access throughout.

Accommodation is located on the ground floor, first floor and second floor.

Restaurants and Bars

The Carriage House restaurant is located in the new part of the hotel and can accommodate up to 100 diners. The restaurant has a light and airy décor with large windows overlooking the courtyard.

A large buffet is available for lunch and the dinner menu consists of an array of quality meals, including classic dishes and international favourites. The wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal. Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs can be accommodated.

The hotel’s bar is located in the old part of the hotel and offers a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including fine wines.

On the building’s south side, the Conservatory Lounge is a wonderfully light, relaxing area offering morning coffee, afternoon tea and an extensive bar menu. The conservatory is a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of tea while savouring the wonderful views of the hotel’s gardens. The floor-to-ceiling glass conservatory doors open out, offering access to the terrace and the garden, for guests to walk off their evening meal in soothing surroundings.

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 7 miles (11.25 km) from Manchester Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 25 minutes.

By Train:
Long distance trains arrive at Manchester Piccadilly railway station. Taxis are readily available from just outside the station. The journey from the station to the hotel should take about 15 minutes.

By Bus:
From Manchester Piccadilly bus station, you can take any of the 40s buses from stand J, which is just 5 minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly railway station. Take the bus to Owens Park on Wilmslow Road. Walk forward to the junction with Moseley Road and turn left.
