The 4-star Lake Hotel still exhibits the building's original elegant lounges, with open log fires. In 1861, the Lake Hotel hosted Queen Victoria of England during her stay in Ireland.

Facilities at the hotel include outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, gym, private tennis courts, pier for boat trips, residents' library, restaurant, lounge and bar.
