Ideally located in Peckham, only 8 minutes by train from London Bridge, this family-run inn offers high quality accommodation combined with the atmosphere of a traditional English pub.

Wishing Well is known locally as a great place to stay. Well-appointed bedrooms sit above the cosy pub complete with a games room. Enjoy a game of pool or darts, or watch major sporting events on the big screen TV from the Chesterfield sofas. If 2 major events occur at the same time, a 2nd screen is available.

Due to its location in Peckham, the inn was often used as the setting for the successful TV series, ‘Only Fools and Horses’. A photo of ‘Delboy’ signed by David Jason sits above the bar.

Thursday evening is quiz night. Everyone can enter, free of charge, and the winner gets a case of beer.

For private parties, the games room is available for hire. The room has a capacity for 80 people. The kitchen can arrange buffet type food to meet your budget or you can arrange your own food. A full sound system and dance area with disco lights is available. A DJ can also be arranged for you, or you can provide your own (decks required).

Directions

By Train:
The inn is conveniently located only 5 minutes' walk from Peckham Rye train station, where there are direct trains every 15-20 minutes into London Bridge station (every 10 minutes during the day).

From London Waterloo/Eurostar:
- Take the train from Waterloo to Elephant and Castle.
- From there, take the train direct to Peckham Rye.
- Coming out of the station, turn right at the end of the passage into Blenheim Grove.
- Walk straight ahead until you reach Bellenden Road.
- Turn left and walk straight up the road on the left-hand side.
- The inn is located on the corner of Choumert Road and Bellenden Road.
