well worth the money, with easy access and the roominess of the room.
Nothing! One recommendation I'd like to suggest is a provision of non slip bath mat.

"Good, easy access to the city centre (bus route along Ravenhill Road and the nearby Ormeau Road; but walkable in 20-25 mins). Large rooms with very large and comfortable bed. Good ensuite bathroom facilities. Use of lounge - plenty of helpful books to read and very relaxing. Breakfast menu very varied and exciting - food very well presented and tasty. Hosts very welcoming. Would definitely book again." (97613204)
Superb attention to detail. Beautifully deocrated with excellent facilities. Food fantastic !
Nothing - this was the best B&B I've stayed in for a long while

"I loved the whole experience, the owner was an absolute gentleman, very friendly and helpful and a fantastic cook! The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is in a really nice area of Belfast and really close to the city centre. It had absolutely everything we were looking for and we were delighted with our choice of accommodation." "The house is spacious and sparkling. The owners and staff were most welcoming and friendly. There was a good breakfast menue and I choose fresh orange juice (small but good), fruit salad with yogurt and Scrambled eggs and bacon served with wholemeal toast. and of course, a pot of tea. All was very good and very nicely served." (99348786)
I has a nice double bed with cotton sheets and a good sized shower room to myself. This was described as a single room. The room itself was small but pleasant with a large window on to the back of the building and a good sized shower room, together with TV and Radio.

"Accommodation is in a quiet, pleasant area of Belfast, but with pubs, restaurants etc within 5 minutes walk and a large park about 10 minutes walk away. The accommodation is about 2 miles from the city centre and is on a direct bus route, but the buses are only 2 per hour. However, there is a bus route on the main road 5 minutes walk away, with buses every 10 minutes." (99979114)

"We did not book ourselves. Our friends who live locally did it for us. We received a warm welcome. It was our first trip to Belfast and we found the staff helpful in our discovery of the city. The room was restful which we needed after our very busy activities during the day. The busy road outside the window woke us early each morning but we live in a quiet village in rural France. The bed was huge. We didn't kiss goodnight, we waved!" (99425638)
Spacious bedroom. Large shower cubicle. Huge bed (room 3) Good breakfast menu. Friendly helpful staff.
Noise from the busy road in the mornings. Took ages to pull hot water but it was always hot

"I am happy to encourage the provision of organic food for breakfast. Ravenhill has a nice atmosphere with beautiful old furniture on display - my kind of place." (2348364)
Peace and quiet, no noise disturbance from other guests, tasteful simple decoration (I have stayed in places filled with frightful kitsch: frilly curtains, plastic flowers, nick-nacks everywhere . . .)
The TV reception was poor. I would prefer a make-up mirror with better reflection and better lighting. Duvets are more comfortable.

"Ravenhill is a lovely home, and the Nicholson's are gracious and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, with varied choices and tasty homemade bread and preserves. It is convenient to bus routes and there is some parking for guests. I only saw one room, the one we stayed in, but it was on the top floor, and the decor was bland and my bed very uncomfortable, with a sway in the middle and very hard. I did not get much sleep. (We found that overall many of the B&B's we stayed in had very hard beds.) Bathroom facilities were adequate with a large tub/shower and plenty of hot water. The house was very clean and well kept. Over all it was a good stay and I would return, though I would ask for a room on the second floor next time and a more comfortable bed!" (1468637)
Owners friendly and helpful, breakfast varied, and delicious. Convenient location to bus service comfortable, clean
Bed was uncomfortable, room accessed via 4 staircases.

"The rooms are very simple - no fluffy bedding or a lot of decorations. It is spacious, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the en-suite clean with a BATH! Coffee and tea in the room with a little something to enjoy with it .... a nice touch!" (1349279)
The fact that there actually was a BATH in the bathroom was very much appreciated! The breakfast was also really nice, with a big selection of food to choose from, and it was given early enough for us to take before we had to leave for the airport.
Having to carry our heavy luggage up a lot of stairs was a little uncomfortable. Even though the host asked if he could assist us, we didn't want him to carry the heavy luggage for us. If one would like to stay over for more than one night, and would like to unpack, the space for hanging and packing clothes for two people will not be enough. It is a little far from nice restaurants where dinner can be enjoyed.

They offer an excellent standard of accomodation, cleanliness outstanding and the guest house is close to all amenities. I can honestly say that the soda bread, with grilled mushrooms and cheese, is the most delicious breakfast I have ever had. We are already looking at flights to go again." (1242343)

"OK." (980484)
Attentive staff.
The room was not all that clean, I'm afraid, and was in a poor state of repair. Ordering a taxi also seemed to be a problem. I had to leave early in the morning, and there was little flexibility in moving breakfast for me, which meant that I missed out.
