"Brilliant, no downsides apart from the size but not a major problem as we were only there 1 night. Would have needed a bigger room if we had stayed longer. " (97026100)

Very welcoming couple running the hotel. Cheap parking behind hotel only £4 for 24hrs. Very very near to the beach. Lovely filling breakfast set us up for the day served with a smile, lovely conversation and in a lovely bright room. Quiet at night. Beds very comfortable. Lots of teabags, coffee, etc in room. Decor very nice and matching.

Room very small as was ensuite but everything clean and in working order.

"I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOW THAT MAINTAINCE WAS BEING CARRIED OUT DURING OUR STAY." (97065463)

The location was easy to find.

When we stayed at the hotel maintaince was being carrid out so workmen were in the hotel. On returning from breakfast we found our room door open so that the workman could use the light from the window to carry out work outside the room. As check out time was at 10am Im sure this could have been done after our checkout.

The full facilities were not available at my disposal, i.e breakfast/dining area was being redecorated. This should result in a discounted stay. The room smelt of stale cigarettes.

"Overall my wife and I were quite pleased with the hotel. Its situation was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals (breakfast) were well cooked and well presented. Requests for hot water or extra toast were dealt with promptly.. The only disappointment was the bathroom which might have suited a thinner, younger person, but larger oldies like myself require a little more room" (3304442550)

Hotel was quite close to town centre and also to the beach

Bathroom was a little on the small side. could not dry oneself properly after showering, without bumping into something

"The manager was good men and very helpful.Thank you" (107218733)

I cant say much but overall the performance was overage.

The wasn't any restaurant in a hotel. And we have to swooped the room to feel better and we have to pay for it.The money extra which we paid wasn't con vincible because we deserve for that room without paying extra.

"The accommodation was clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and good facilities were offered. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere relaxed. This hotel is close to all of the main Bournemouth attractions, such as the Pavilion theatre, The BIC and the shopping centre. Everywhere is within comfortable walking distance, although there is quite a steep hill to walk up back to the hotel, there is a bus service for those who could not manage it. All in all, a great place to stay." (3304475454)

Room slightly on the small side but very clean and comfortable.

"The actual stay was fabulous, there was nothing to complain about that affected our stay. I would definatley reccommend anyone to stay in this hotel. The service and staff were very polite and helpful, especially when asked about the local area, where to eat and what to do ie sightseeing etc. A definate 10/10." (97106889)

Our accommodation was absolutely great, the room was massive and great value for the maoney we paid. The best part about the room was the fact that it was totally separate from the actual hotel and big enough to sleep 3 people, with a really good size bathroom that was nicely decorated. Also the room was lovely and warm and very cosy.

Nothing really, just that we only had two tv channels, thats all.

"I would perhaps have liked clearer directions on finding the hotel. Although we got off the bus at the correct stop we had to ask someone how to get to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and all decoration was in good condition. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He was genuinely interested in his guests and answered all our questions on where to eat etc with good humour. Really good value for money and excellent service. Room was small but adequate. We loved the ginger jar filled with sweets and apreciated the chocolate on our pillow." (97919600)

Manager was really friendly and helpful. The hotel was central and really good value for money. My daughter and I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends and would stay again.

Room was basic but clean and freshly decorated. I would have prefered the option of a continental breakfast as a cooked breakfast is not really to my liking.

The difference in quality of the rooms. But thats only because i'm being picky!

The rooms were clean and well presented. The gym and spa facilities which was free for hotel guests was really great.

"It was ok for what was needed, a value stay in a fair position close to the amenities." (107123339)

The rooms were of a good size with better than basic amenities.

Only 4 tv channels, I am sure it wouldn't cost too much to put freeview into the rooms. Having to go into a mucky sports pub for breakfast.

"Appalling - we refused to stay the booked second night. Would actively advise people to stay away from this hotel at any price." (107132038)

No wardrobe, walls were paper thin, enabling us to hear ablutions next door, woken at 3AM by loud swearing and shouting from the next room, unable to register (not expecting a room key!) at midday, bed too soft, no breakfast available, insufficient parking. Insecure door lock, broken window catch. For a quoted rate of £85 per night, we were entitled to significantly better accommodation than was provided. Hate to think what the £20 rooms would have been like!
