"Nice well mannered staff. The hotel is clean and tidy." (97627926)

Breakfast was excellent value for money.

Only one negative point was that when we came back after our first day out the key card for the door no longer allowed us to access the room. This was only a minor inconvenience.

Roomy, clean and a comfortable bed. real mushrooms for breakfast.

    Friendly staff

The state of the ladies toilet in the main reception area. It was disgusting even at 2pm in afternoon!

"the attitude of the very unhelpfull staff i will be complaining to the head office" (97101116)

    easy to get to

everything the food in th hotel was cold when i recieved it and took ages to arrive and it taken 20 minutes for a waiter to come over and greet us,then when the food arrived it wasnt cooked and my partner wasnt impressed by her awful food that much she had two mouthfulls and left the rest.i paid £70 for the meal and was NOT impressed it was cheap food with an expensive tag.also the staff were unapproachable and got the food orders and drink orders wrong also the bathroom looked as tho my child had cleaned it.

"generally hotel was fine bathrooms would benefit from a re-furb,staff were polite and friendly dining room was ok food was good. the signage from the rear car park could do with a look at its not obvious where you go to get in and i ended up trying to get in to the swimming pool, its interesting that the main entrance is at the front and the parking is at the rear making the rear entrance the most used yet the signage is poor.the only reason i mention it is because i got soaked finding the way in" (99314888)

    location,bedroom clean and tidy,bed comfortable,nice and quiet

bathroom a bit tired, not enough room in bath, shower curtain keeps touching you whilst showering.the front door closer didn't pull the door in to the latch if i hadn't noticed it the door would have been unlocked until we returned, you had to pull it to latch it.

"I would have liked to have known about the size of the accomodation before i booked. It would have been nice to be warned of trafic problems outside the hotel." (99656494)

Modern furnashings. Bar staff were more pleasent than recieption staff.

Very very small room (espescialy for 2 people). The bathroom was very out dated, tired looking and felt a little unclean, towels were small and old. Bedding was not as white as should be expected. Was charged for breakfast even though i booked room only and did not have breakfast, this was ammended but i did not need this hastle when time is important.

Leisure centre was reasonable, and access to motorway was excellent.

Room was tiny and bathroom not up to standard of finishes i'd expect, though it was perfectly clean.

  • 8/10 Vicki ( Young couple)

    from Isleworth , United Kingdom;GB  on  March 4, 2007

"As we were there to see a Rugby Leauge match at Reebok Stadium, on the internet it says that this is 500 metres from statium. It feels a lot more it is about a 30min fast walk. You have to eat in the hotel, there is no where else close by, no pubs. You can walk towards the stadium to get food but if it is cold it is a bit far." (99792496)

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern.

The pillows were not good. It took a long time to get any food orders delivered this happened on every occassion of ordering food.

  • 8/10 Margaret ( Family with older children)

    from . , UNITED KINGDOM;GB  on  October 18, 2006

"Stayed for two nights to attend family wedding - hotel warm, rooms comfortable and leisure facilities an absolute bonus. Faults that I would like to see rectified are that we found bar poorly stocked - ran out of red wine? No sherry at all. However staff very accomodating and pleasant. Overall very good and if we had to stay in the area again would use this hotel." (3304966077)

Comfortable beds, shower nice and warm and curtain did not stick to you. connecting rooms with older children was super.

  • 8/10 Jeannie ( Group of work colleagues)

    from Leeds , United Kingdom;GB  on  June 13, 2006

"There was a wedding on during my stay. The function room is very close to the downstairs bedrooms where I was. The noise was disturbing in the background as I tried to work in my room and even was audible over the sound of the TV when I turned it on. Each time the doors to the function room opened it was even louder. I mentioned it to the reception desk staff as I checked out next morning and they apologised. However, if noisy music is going to be played at night then they should consider better sound-proofing for working/sleeping guests. Apart from that the hotel was good. It was well-positioned in the countryside with excellent motorway links. Easy car parking and plenty of it." (3304700033)

Size of room and bathroom. Position close to motorway junction.

Noise from a function right next to my bedroom.

  • 8/10 Kathleen ( Group of work colleagues)

"The hotel was friendly and well decorated. Our stay was enjoyable. I would stay there again and recommend it." (3304307333)

The room was clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was noisy at night as there were parties going on downstairs. Room service was slow when the restaurant was busy.

  • 10/10 James ( Other)

    from Derby , United Kingdom;GB  on  May 17, 2006

"Although we arrived later than we had stated when booking, we were greeted well and the staff were all very welcoming and plesant (even at 1am!) The accomodation was clean and tidy, the food was lovely (we had breakfast and our evening meal) Some of our new business colleagues joined us for our evening meal, they too were very impressed with the service and quality of food. The staff very relaxed but remained professional. We will definately be recommending the Ramada Bolton to friends and business colleagues." (3304660158)

"Review your bar area, and especially the dining area and its seating, most everything else was fine." (3304460445)

Clean, well laid out with superb roomy comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The lounge and bar area were both rather sad looking and in need of refurbishment, the choice of beer was poor and very expensive, and the seeting in the lower section of the dining area is disgustingly filthy.

One set of bar staff extremly miserable - joked to her that she needed to smile - got full history of her relationships ??!! Other wise the experience was excellent and I will book in again." • 8/10 Susan ( Other)

"THE ACCOMMODATION OVERALL WAS OK, THE ROOM WE HAD WAS IN NEED OF REFURBISMENT AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED, IF I HAD BEEN STAYING FOR MORE THAN ONE NIGHT I WOULD HAVE REQUESTED A DIFFERENT ROOM." (2210456)

THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE, STAFF WHERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

THE ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS A NO SMOKING ROOM, AS REQUESTED, THE QUALITY OF THE DECOR WAS VERY POOR, WITH WALL PAPER PEELING OFF THE WALL, THE BATHROOM SINK WAS ALL CRACKED AND STAINED AND THE CARPET IN THE CORRIDOR LEADING TO THE ROOM WAS VERY BADLY STAINED.

Fantastic service in the restaurant. Friendly staff on reception. The health club was great.

The TV remote played up. Needed brighter lights in the main room

"Not a character hotel for a romantic break for example but good just for a stayover and to unwind (fact it has a pool is an asset but I never tried). I managed to pay a good price for lastminute deal and it was good for that price. One thing I would say though is v v expensive drinks at bar at the party." (2131608)

V friendly and professional staff. Beautiful modern reception/ bar area.

Room uninspiring but overall ok. Slight damp in corner of room with wallpaper coming off. Shower quite weak and took ages to warm up.

Room was a good siza and we got upgraded to an executive suite as our room was not available.

    The radiator was broken.

"I would not stay at this hotel again. I should of enjoyed my overnight stay stress free, but did not." (1673385)

Had a lovely bar and spa facilities.

We were put in the wrong room (non smoking). Had to move. Moved into a smoking room which was cold and all the electricity was turned off. Took staff 45 minutes to attend to us and sort the problem out. Took me a total of 5 phone calls to rectify this.

  • 9/10 Jeanette ( Family with young children)

The beds were roomy and comfy, temperature of room just right, bathroom fine and plenty of tea and coffee!

Noisy at night due to a wedding party, also some noise from outside.

  • 8/10 Graeme ( Young couple)

    It was nice & friendly

I could not use my debt card to keep my hotel room bill open for my stay which means i had could not get room service or drinks from the bar without cash which i thought was unfair and bad services
