    "Hotel & staff are lovely. Had a great time but wish the weather had been better.." (108068722)

    Excellent customer service & good quality food. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

    Dinner menu was limited to four dishes which was disapointing. More choice is needed. Also there were no draught beers or lagers at the time of our visit.

    Good parking facilities. Room was well presented if a little compact but for a weekend stay it was large enough. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the chef helpful.

    The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Although we didn't sample the evening menu, the breakfast was delicious, and your staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

    "This is a very good hotel that I will definetly use again, it is well run, spacious and very good value for money. Its also in an excellent location with ample parking. Everything from towels to food was high quality and the complimentary wine on the tea / cofee tray was an unexpected touch." (97330820)

    Complimentary wine and bath robes. Friendly staff, large rooms, great breakfasts, very good location.

    Wi Fi acesss is way too expensive - really it should be free, but at nearly £5 for an hour its anything but.

    Very clean and a friendly hotel, value for money. Spoke to the manager re the sheets and towels they were all new and she was going to speak to the laundry.

    Sheets and towels were new and needed laundering before use. They were uncomfortable to use as they still contained the dressing found in new products. Room was on the front of the hotel overlooking the main road and was very noisy.

    Friendly & efficient Reception staff. Room adequate size, comfy bed. Large modern bathroom excellent shower.

    Was shown to table for breakfast, had coffee & toast bought to table, went to hot food counter and we returned to our table plates in hand to find the same person who had showed us to our table had cleared it away! More senior member of staff apologised profusely and quickly reset a fresh table. At least it proved to be a source of amusement for the other diners!

    Breakfasts were very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. We appreciated the hotel's daily newsletter that was delivered each morning with our newspaper.

    Bedrooom and bathroom seemed rather small for 2 people. Only one armchair.

    "We found our room to be spacious and clean. The evening meal in the restaurant was good with freshly prepared produce and the chef introducing himself. All the staff were helpful and friendly but the breakfasts were excellent, good choice and plentiful. We would certainly stay again and highly reccommend this hotel." (97990201)

    The hotel was very well located just 5mins walk into the town centre with plenty of car parking available at the rear.

    Good location - toiletaries

    Expensive and couldn't see any advantage of having the executive suite - the much published dressing gowns were old, hard and grey rather than white and soft. The completary wine and coffee were also poor. The room was just dated, it was probabaly well overdue a make over, with bed spread perhaps the most hideous item to survive the 1980's. Other guest were all elderly. Room look nothing like that on the internet. TV was not flatscreen, limited channels, bathroom floor was lino designed to look like laminate, I could go on,,,

    "The hotel was within easy walking distance of the centre of Harrogate. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. The restaurant menu was limited but special requests could be placed in advance. The main courses were served with vegetable garnish only and though well cooked were not filling. The option to order more vegetables would be appreciated.     "Overall this was a very good experience. However the shower fitting was faulty and the shower head did not stay in the fitting which was supposed to hold it. Also the fruit at braefast was not fresh, but I believe, was tinned. which was a pity. Otherwise the breafast was excellent. The staff throughout my stay performed at a high standard and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I left a rather expensive hair brush in the room when I checked out, but it had not been found when I enquired afterwards, and I presume has still not been found." (97435510)

    Central - easy walking distance of town centre, clean, well decorated, welcoming and helpful staff, hospitality tray well-equipped, breakfast had excellent choice as well as excellent and unobtrusive service

    Only one chair and no central light - overall lighting was weak. Toast at breakfast was soggy.

    Close to the town centre, in easy walking distance & ample car parking at rear. Executive room was well equipped with plenty of space

    Had to drag luggage down side of hotel from rear car park and up steps to front, could be a problem for elderly and disabled. there is a small amount of parking at front but was full. The reception did not ask if we needed assistance with luggage, which perhaps should have been offered.

    "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'The Kimberley'. We found all staff to be efficient, approachable and very friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff who were endlessly helpful and polite. The breakfast provided quality and variety from which to choose; I even had my own vegetarian sausages made for me each morning by the chef! The bar area was welcoming and comfortable, with a good variety of drinks at reasonable prices." (97131609)

    Electric shower could not produce hot enough water, so I resorted to a bath, the water for which was excellent. I prefer to shower.

    Quiet, Clean, Friendly - Food and location good standard

    By 9am on the friday morning the breakfast buffet was looking rather sad. However, on bringing it to the attention of staff and a short wait, the service brought more eggs & bacon. the actual breakfast was good though.

    The staff were very welcoming, good car parking, the room very good value for money and the breakfast excellent. Hotel near to Harrogate town centre but in a quiet area, so no disturbance late at night. Couldn't have asked for better!

    "We thought the location was ideal - easy to find when driving in, good parking and a short (less than 10 mins) walk to the town centre. My friend and I stayed in a twin room which was quite spacious and comfortable (although cold when we checked in early evening). Its clean and tidy, good value for money. We didnt eat there in the evening but I can say that the breakfast was great - really good choice for anyone whether you like the healthy option or enjoy a good fry-up!
