"For the price - awesome. If I was on my own I'd definately stay there again. " (97644390)
wake up call where they came to the room, location, teakettle in room, soap and shampoo in room, tv that worked very well in room. SUPER CHEAP PRICE
No top sheet on bed - only a duvet and one can only suspect that the cover isn't changed with each patron that stays in the room. Very noisy but motels always are.

"This is the second time I have stayed, mainly because of price and free shuttle to Heathrow. It is OK for one night. Pub down the road and across the street are extremely overpriced. Food is poor. Tables & Chairs should be outside in back, so visitors can sit out in good weather." (97951549)
Easy access-room ground floor as we had a lot of luggage-
We did not receive wakeup up call for 6:00am as we had requested. Apparently, our room number was misconstrued, as someone tried to get in (another guest) thinking it was their room. Better trained and focused staff are recommended. Room too small for 2-like a cracker box.

"It was a great position, very helpful being picked up from bus station and taken to terminal. Pub across the road for food, car parking excellent although I did not have car. Nothing fancy, would stay again for one or two nights. (You have addressed me as Mister but am Mrs) Considering current prices good value for money." (97260268)
Near to Heathrow, surprisingly quiet, went into Hounslow during p.m. Staff most helpful
Room small, toilet a little difficult if engaged and had to wait. was not told where they were, only found one.

The hotel was very dirty. The room had black mold in one corner. The sliding glass door to the outside had a marginal lock and the front door did not lock fully unless you moved the door plate so the deadbolt could slide

Good transfer. Friendly staff. Directly opposite a nice pub.
Accommodation is very basic, but you get what you pay for, and as long as you appreciate that then it is adequate overnight accommodation for an early morning flight.

"This was a poor choice of lodging because the motel is on the flight path of aeroplanes coming in to land at Heathrow day and night, every minute. The recommendation is that the motel should be better sound-proofed or that clients need to be advised of this well in advance. The noise factor is horrendous from clients entering and leaving their rooms at all hours so that getting any sleep is very difficult. For instance, clients on the floor above me were up at 04:00 hrs and were busy flushing toilets, showering and clumping heels heavily over wood floors. The shuttle service between the motel and airport should be available throughout the day and not just at certain hours. I had to catch the local bus from Terminal 5. The bus driver said he had no idea where the Lodge was, or Heathrow Close but fortunately someone on the bus knew where it was and was able to direct me where to get off. The Lodge could provide written instructions to advise clents about this in advance in their brochure. I had been staying in one and two-star hostals and hotels in Spain at half the price which provided far better accommodation in terms of cleanliness, service, comfort and facilities than that offered at Heathrow Lodge." (97723693)
Proximity to Heathrow Airport
Bathroom and sink drains in the modular unit were plugged and sluggish which resulted in a flood that overran the bathroom floor, over the sill between bathroom and room and wet the room carpet. This was reported and I was told that a plumber would fix the problem. The hairdryer was not working. This was promptly reported too and a new dryer was found and brought t ot he room. The television was unoperable at first, neither remote or TV power switch. This was reported promptly and the desk clerk came to trun it on, citing that previous travellers must have jinxed it with their computers. The carpet looked as if it had not been vacuumed. After the bathroom flood subsided half an hour later all sorts of black debris was found on the floor, stuff that must have emerged from the drains.

"Heathrow Lodge met our requirements and at a reasonable price. We were pleased with our choice. When I booked I received excellent information on the site, how to reach it by bus, etc. The only suggestion I have is this - when you give directions to call for a courtesy bus pick-up, it would be wise to repeat the telephone number without the 44 and with the added 0. As visitors to the country, we had a hard time figuring out how many digits to dial and which ones." (97624214)
It was close to the airport and to a couple of nice pubs for dinner.
There wasn't good sound insulation so the room was a bit noisy. I could hear doors closing and conversations at the reception area.

"You have to telephone the hotel from the airport to arrange for the free shuttle to pick you up. The shuttle also has limited hours and is not available after 10:30pm. It was a little difficult deciphering the directions over the phone as to where to wait for the shuttle as the clerk had a strong Indian accent and did not speak up. The shuttle car driver was pleasant and prompt. When I arrived at the hotel, I found the front hallway covered in little cutout scraps of carpet which got all rucked up when I wheeled my suitcase over them. The lady in front of me in the check-in line was taken outside by the clerk to find her room. When I had checked in the clerk pointed to the front door and said, Second door on the left. I took my heavy suitcase outside, where there was no security lighting, and stumbled around the entire building on uneven paving stones in the dark, finding no door. When I came back in, the clerk, who had seen me go out, just pointed at another doorway inside which was not well signed and which I had not seen. No apology or assistance was offered. I had booked a wake-up call, as had the 2 guests in front of me, but when I found my room there was no telephone. When I told the front desk clerk he gave me a different room which was opposite the check-in desk and noisy in the morning when people checked out. The second room I was given had no bedside lamps and only one light switch by the door. It did have a working TV and a kettle with mugs, tea, coffee and milk. The shower stall was tiny and sprayed water all over the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and clean. The carpets in the bedroom looked old and dirty. The shuttle bus the next morning was prompt and the driver was courteous." (97621037)
Close to the airport and free shuttle to airport and hotel. Front desk clerk was friendly.
I booked a wake-up call and was given a room with no telephone. Then I was moved into a room with no bedside lamps.

"It was nice for one night however there seemed to be problems with the shuttle to the airport. It runs on hours that are not so convienent to the early morning traveller, someone traveling so early is not doing so out of luxury but convienence and having to pay 10 pounds as opposed to a later flight where it is free is quite annoying." "The accomomdations were overall very pleasant. Although the hotel is not luxurious by any means, it offers safe and clean facilities in an excellent location near the airport. I was very pleased with hotel personnel and their very pleasant and helpful attitudes. I would definitely stay here again and have no qualms in recommending the hotel to others. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and is within walking distance of a MacDonalds restaurants and a couple of very nice pubs. I also liked the fact that the hotel offers comfortable twin beds." (97413065)
It was clean, in a nice neighborhood, close to the airport and offered free shuttle service to Heathrow which was wonderful. Hotel personnel were exceptionally pleasant and helpful
The chain on our door was broken. The bathroom facility was extremely small and the the shower had a tendency to flood. Overall, however, these were really minor problems that caused little problems for us.

"disorganised service, no requests asked for at booking in, ie no room service, breakfast etc, no clear rules given about parking overflow, they must know that a few times a year they get extra guests due to conventions at the thistle who may not have time to sort out their room, may be leaving valuables so may with the room to stay locked. All I wanted was a private room and two sets of towels, this didn't happen sadly. Could we not have do not disturb/no room service signs for the doors? Also the night lock always took 7-10 times used to get it to open, surely this could be fixed. Last time I was a women on her own and got no lock on the door only a chain which I found alarming, this time I had a lock but no chain, spending another night alone I wasnt too happy with another faulty door. Also the rooms where very hot for us and the windows opened all the way down the pains so if we accidently left them open all our valuables would have been stolen. Also we were't happy to find that a friend had found a cheeper room at the same holel throught a different website." (97400337)
location
I only had two things I required during my stay, that the room would be private, no room service please (which I spoke with the cleaning staff about on the first morning, I do understand that another person may have come to clean my room the second day so wires may have been crossed)And that they give us two sets of towels for two people, there was one for the 1st day, I spoke with the cleaning staff the second day and was given two sets, but was most dismayed when on the third day, after receving room service I'd asked not to have, to find the clean towls taken away and only one set left in it's place again.

I liked the closeness to Heathrow Airport and the free shuttle. I enjoyed being able to just walk across the street to the pub for my dinner. I thought the room was clean, and it was nice to have colour tv for the evenings entertainment. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and friendly and I found the bed comfortable too. I felt I got good value for the money, and the price was very reasonable.
The only negative was being so close to the flight patterns of the aircraft taking off and landing from Heathrow airport, however they did stop sometime between 11pm and midnight and I did get some good rest, so overall I would stay again and recommend your hotel to future guests.

"I was disappointed with the hotel due to several reasons, the hotel only offers the free courtesy bus to the airport at certain times, and I was told this was full at 7am and 8am (the only times offered to me) this incurred a cost of 10 pounds for a taxi. Although I realised at the time of booking I would be sharing a bathroom, I did not realise it would be with about 12 other bedrooms, therefore use of the bathroom was difficult. The walls of the bedrooms were paper thin, so you could hear every move from the next room. I suppose the room was just about adequate for a night, but for a small amount extra there are plenty of international hotels to choose from. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and the pub across the road from the hotel serves decent food." (97088321)
Not much.
Paper thin walls, too many sharing the bathroom, courtesy bus full.

"The hotel is clean and it was worth booking the room with a bathroom if you have small children some rooms have shared bathrooms. If was very close to the Heathrow flight path. An obvious hazard when booking a stop-over hotel before holidaying I know, but the windows did block out the noise well. The shuttle to the airport was a VW Transporter that was very clean with plenty of luggage space. All seats had seat belts. This service is only available during set hours though so check your flight times match up before using this hotel. The parking was £5 a night so works out cheaper than most parking facilities." (97783804)
Comfy bed and a large kettle for cups of tea. The bunk bed was good and a helpful man brought up the travel cot for us.

"I visited this hotel with my partner on Sat 15 Mar 08. First off, trying to find Heathrow Lodge was a nightmare, and we had to ask for directions more than once. I booked a double room online and when I arrived, at 0200 in the morning, I was given a twin room. The en-suite bathroom, which was a toilet, sink and a shower head leading onto the same floor, was no bigger than a standard built in wardrobe or airing cupboard. As we had arrived at that time and were tired from out journey, we decided that a twin room would suffice. The heating in the room was on, but was broken so it couldn't be turned off, thus opening a window, only to be met with the sound of water dripping/pouring outside keeping us awake. The room smelt of mould and there were hairs in the sink. When we complained to the staff in the morning, nothing was done about it." (97859171)

Bathroom was shared, 1 in the house, it was nice and clean and nice shower. I would certainly consider staying there again, i got what i paid for. Thanks" (97202079)
Easy to get to with a little walking, the got my keys & it was fairly quiet in the night. I liked that the rooms were in seperate houses, so it was just like coming home & going to your own room. The shower in the shared bathroom was nice.
More than 1 staff member is required as it can be difficult dealing with problems when rooms are not all within one building. Hallway needed a dim light &/ some signs perhaps to direct to rooms so its easy for first time visitors. There were smoke detectors however on 1 or the 2 nights i got a high smell of smoke from somewhere.

I paid 30 pounds a night and my two friends paid only 16 pounds and not each. I felt I should've deserved a better room or a refund for my stay." (97867692)
Wait was unesscessary. What's the point of booking online if I have to wait for my room to be ready?
My room looked like it was JUST CREATED.

"We chose this hotel for convenience to Heathrow Airport as we were arriving back after 2 days of flying from Australia. The airport shuttle was prompt and efficient and the journey to the hotel was quick. The staff were friendly and the check-in was speedily completed. Our accomodation was in an annex 3 houses away, so we were lucky that the weather was not bad. The room and facilities were very basic with no frills. Because of the proximity to Heathrow, there was lots of aircraft noise, which was reduce somewhat by the double glazed windows. We did not take the rather expensive pre-packed Continental breakfast. (found a sitdown Full English at a London cafe for a pound cheaper) In summary: convenient low cost transit accomodation, but not recommended for longer stay." (97609194)
