Hotel in convenient situation. Excellent breakfast.
I stayed as a single and thought the price of the room, £95, excessive as it was more of a single than the double it was defined as!

"Would like to have had a preview of the room. We would certainly stay again if comments about our particular room were met. I should add that the comments were not brought to the attention of staff during our stay." (97514446)
Friendly welcome and assistance at reception and breakfast room. Quiet room.
The shower leaked. All floorboards creaked loudly in the room. Only one chair provided

Staff were very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was good. Location was nice too, easy to use public transportation.
The rooms were very small. Only douple beds availeble- our teenagers had to sleep in the same bed- they hated it!

"Well situated with good access to tube, trains and town" (97283584)
Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast and service
Shower cubical small, being 6"3 and of firm build, used bathroom as a shower room and it worked fine, but if you tried to use the cubical as a shower unit it would be impossible. Noise from road and other rooms

"We were disappointed with the condition of the hotel but the staff were very friendly and helpful." (97218138)
The receptionist was friendly and helpful and had a good local knowledge. The dining room was small but clean. The breakfast was of fair quality and quantity.
Generally the room was very cramped. The bathroom was extremely small and outdated. The shower itself was very small in terms of area and the showerhead could not be angled in any way. Due to these points, water easily flowed outside of the shower and onto the bathroom floor. In addition the bathroom had a damp and unpleasant smell.

"The room was particularly unclean and there was black mold in the bathroom. I immediately returned to reception to request a full refund - I clearly was not going to stay in this hotel! The receptionist was helpful, however his manager had to be asked twice for the refund - at first he wanted to charge a cancellation fee! I did eventually get a full refund and was then left to find another hotel, late at night in a strange city... Avoid this hotel - it's one of the worst I've seen." (97598141)
The hotel was extremely unclean and the bathroom was moldy.

"This hotel has some good points ie- pleasant staff, good food, clean and comfortable bed, handy for both Euston and kings Cross plus underground stations. However rooms are small, window catches broken and looked as if it had been broken for some time. shower is vey small and no working fan in bathroom." (97820884)
Staff were pleasent, breakfast was v.good, handy for station and underground.
Shower is very small, no fan in bathroom. Catch on window was broken. Noise from other rooms during night.

the welcome at the hotel was great and the staff were all very friendly. although the room was not the largest i have stayed in, it certainly was not the smallest, especally in london.
the hotel was very warm, as it was hot outside. there was a fan in the room however.

"See above about dislikes. As said, the photo and description on the internet site are arguably commercially misleading, particularly when considered in conjunction with the provided hotel rating." (97910356)
Desk staff were pleasant.
Definitely NOT value for money compared to similar b 'n' b options in the same area. The hotel presentation was very tired, the floors were noisy from the same corridor AND the room above, the curtains were dirty, and even the fan was a cheap model that rattled and was unclean. I'd respectfully suggest that whoever rated this hotel needs to revise their grading as a matter of priority.

"Very very unhappy." (97651493)
It had none, apart from being close to St Pancreas Station
It was in very poor condition, dirty, unsafe and badly needing repair. The bed was extremely small as was the room - hardly a double. I can't imagine how it maintains a 3 star rating. It would barely deserve 1 star. We were also told that we could get an early (7.00am) breakfast, but when we went to the breakfast room, we were told there was no breakfast until 7.30am - too late for us.

"The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful for the most part. However, there were several issues pertaining to theroom phone. The weekend staff did not know there is a difference in the first three digits of a UK number when calling from within the country vs outside. I tried to call my niece in Birmingham and could not reach her. I only found out the problem when I asked a ticket agent at Euston station for assistance. Front desk should have been aware of this. A few days later I was told the phones were not working properly and missed a call in my room from a relative when I stepped out to use a public phone. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and staff friendly. Since there are many hotels in this area I would look to try another." (97957703)
The breakfast room was neat and tidy; nice selection of food included in the full breakfast with room. The location of the hotel is fantastic with close proximity to rail and bus lines.
the room was small but that is to be expected in the UK. It was comfortable and tidy. The bathroom could have been cleaner, particularly the shower curtain.

Pleasent cosy hotel, liked the fact that we were close to kings cross station for the underground etc!
On the first night there was a considerable amount of noise from a room next to us between 2am and 6am!!! The tv didn't have a very good picture channel 5 had the best signal!

"The hotel was situated in an ideal location. The staff were friendly. The booking process was excellent. The desk was manned 24 hours a day and so someone was on hand at all times. Our baggage was left with the desk and was secure. However...the sink was disgusting, blocked with old hairs. The shower head needed de-scaling as it was clogged up. The rooms were incredibly thin and everything could be heard around. The floor boards on the above room were so squeaky that everytime the couple walked around (at 3am!) we heard them. The television in the room only had one channel working correctly the others had no signal. Overall, I would not chose the hotel for a future stay :-(" (97568486)
It was close to the train station and surrounded by good eating and drinking places.
The room was very small and the walls were paper thin...every noise from the rooms could be heard. The sink plug was full of hair. The shower head was clogged up. The bedding had stains on the bottom sheet.

"The site makes the hotel look clean and inviting, and to be fair the staff, outward appearance and the public areas are perfectly acceptable. However the room was on the small side, and would have been unacceptable for two people. The bathroom was small too, but the shower was the worst part. It was too small, the showerhead too low, the grotty shower curtain allowed the water to spray right through it on to the bathroom floor (when it wasn't sticking to my legs), and the shower tray was leaking onto the floor. Altogether showering was a cramped and unpleasant experience - not what you need first thing in the morning. The room was warm and smelled of bleach or carpet cleaner, and became muggy very quickly. The radiator could be adjusted which was great, but the window had no latch so kept blowing right open even in the lightest of breezes. Waking up with a thick meant a nice shower was in order... But not in that shower thanks!" (97724630)
Staff were friendly and efficient. Public Areas were clean and tidy, although the lights weren't working in the main stairwell.
Room was small but functional. Bathroom was very small, but the shower was the worst. It was tiny and cramped and the showerhead was far too low. Room was stuffy and the window had no latch so kept blowing open fully. TV picture was rubbish.

"Poor hotel - traffic noise horrendous. Check in unprofessional. State of security poor. Noise from traffic precldued a good nights sleep. Woke up four times. Rooms were freezing cold. My bathroom in the final room (honeymoon suite) was excellent, but the housekeepping standards in hotel were not good - cobwebs everywhere and stains and dirty handmarks on all the doors." (97265064)
the bathroom in the honeymoon suite (I obtained this room because the doors would not lock in the first 3 rooms we tried)
appalling security - locks on doors were broken, I had to move room three times to find a door with a lock that worked. No breakfast until 7.30 and no food to take away when I left at 7.20am. Freezing cold rooms/ Housekeeping standard not good. Traffic noise horrendous.

"For this location it was a good price, so you can't expect great amenities." (97398197)
The location was great, the staff were lovely.
The shower was far too small and a bit manky, the shower curtain filthy and the bathroom fan did not work. Very, very hot - thankfully the window opened and there was a fan, but in order to be comfortable enough to sleep the window had to be left open all night and this meant traffic noise woke me at 6am.
