    Food was good value.

There was only one person on checkout in the morning, hence there was a queue of about 10 people at the peak check out time. Also, taxi booked the night before did not appear.

helpful staff and appreciated the leisure facilities

Check in was overwhelmed at time of checking in due to sheer amount of guests arriving resulting in some delay but NOT a criticism of the check in staff who booked guests in as quickly as they could

it was very convenient for the city centre. It was of a very good standard for the money we paid . The food available at Dinner was varied and well presented.

a minor detail . I would have liked more variety available for Continental style breakfast.

Room clean and tidy, decor fresh.

Grubby entrance hall, not in the least inviting and totally lacking character. Grounds dirty and unkempt. Does not reflect the good standard of accommodation.

    "OK" (97664118)

I sustained a minor injury (broken toe, NOT the hotel's fault) and the staff were outstandingly helpful in arranging for transport to A&E. Thank-you!

Leisure centre out of order - no pool/sauna etc - this should have been flagged on the website, as it was my main reason for choosing the hotel. Food disappointing. Slow checkout.

    Room size and quietness

stanard of cleanliness lower than woud be expect. e.g. bin not emptied in bathroom, hairs in bathroom, stined pillowcases (spare). Cost disproportionate to standard of hotel room.

"I find it annoying when asked for credit card details immediately on arrival as method of payment, I personally do not use them and find it irritating and unnecessary to be told that I cannot use certain facilities based only on the fact that I do not need to spend other peoples money charged with interest. Hotels should trust customers who do not need to utilise credit cards more than those who do!" (97088555)

"I would have liked to have known how far from town the hotel was, and what was around as i didn't have a clue about the area. I was however impressed by your services as i had called to book a different hotel which had no vancancies and your representative offered me this one which i was impressed with. She was very helpful and also was able to give me the phone number for the local taxi service which was a plus. I would definetly use your service in the future." (99265804)

Through your website we got a very cheap deal. The room was spacious and clean, with nice bathroom facilities with complimentries (eg. soap etc) which you dont always get. The hotel had a indoor pool and gym, and offered 24 hour room service, and a choice of cooked or contitinental breakfast and an absolutly excellent restaraunt (the food was amazing and great service).

The only bad things were the front desk staff weren't very helpful with things in relation to train timetables and general advice. One in particular seemed a little clueless and refunded us 41pounds because she thought we had paid for 3 nights instead of 2 when we hadn't (not that we're complaining!)

Twin double bed rooms. Nice & spacious.

Breakfast arrangements were poor when a number of guests arrived within a similar period. Sound deadoning was not very good between our room & the adjacent one, particularly when the guest in the next room decided to leave the TV on all night.

"The value for money is very poor with breakfast being charged as an extra! I have stayed in many hotels in Aberdeen over the last year and although the prices of rooms in Aberdeen are artificially high due to the oil industry, I feel that £ 100 for 1 night is not good value for money taking into consideration that the rooms and corridors in particular are starting to look shabby." (3304409875)

Good choice of bars and eating.

Overall appearance from carpark level to room level, the whole hotel looks aged and could do with a makeover.
