    "Great value for money cannot complain, our 2nd stay in this particular Hotel, will definately book again. Maybe time though to invest in a bit of upkeep,with the bathroom/mattress.. " (108016775)

    Staff and cleanliness of room/hotel was very good,towels and bed linen lovely & fresh. Very quiet, Breakfast yummy..

    Shower curtain smelt, needed washing,or new ones, shower didn't work properly and bed mattress tad springy.

    "When we first arrived the room allocated was near a busy road so noisy. Ask at reception who very speedily moves us to a quieter room. Also in the restaurant I asked for a curry which was not on the Al la carte menu. This was not a problem and was cooked fresh not from a prepered packet. An excellent meal " (108013115)

    "We found the location of the hotel idea for the places we where visiting. Reception staff were friendly and very imformative, on local attractions and road directions. Housekeeping staff always said good morning and smiling (rare in hotels these days). We would stay there again!" (97685935)

    having tea making facilities and a clean room thank u

    arriving late and not been able to get somthing to eat from the resturant as a guest the fan in the bathroom went on for far too long and was noise the tv could do with being mounted on the wall too low for person lying down nearest the wall could not see.

    Plenty of car parking. Majority of staff efficient,friendly & helpful.

    VERY intrusive traffic/road noise from dual carriageway 20 metres away,which starts very early in the morning. Not being able to order a meal in the bar for 2hrs, because of a coach party.

    Everything was fine,the only really bad point was another couple who are friends of ours were staying at the hotel and when we came down for breakfast we asked for a table for 4 because we wanted our friends to join us when they came down for but the woman in charge refused our request both mornings,the reason she gave was that the other couple might not come down for breakfast and we would have taken up a bigger table than we neeed.I could understand this if the dinning room was full but it was almost empty,so we ended up having to sit at opposite sides of the room.We weren't the only people this happened to.

    "I would have liked everything to be in working order in the room and the bed to be comfortable and the walls thicker. Hence:- 1.People walking down the corridor outside the room talking at a reasonable level (at around midnight) could be heard clearly in my room. 2.The shower - the on/off knob came off in my hand (missing fixing nut. 3.The shower - having turned the water on the temperature couild not be adjusted (too hot) 4.Due to 3 above I had to run a bath - the taps were so stiff that once hands were wet there was insufficient purchase on the taps to turn them completely off. 5. The bed was well best its sell by date. In many years of staying in hotel in the UK this must rank amongst the bottom half dozen." (97206328)

    the room was clean and we had plenty of towels in the room. We also had a chocolate mint left on the bed! The breakfast was good too. There was also a drinks vending machine which was very convient.

    When going to the restaurant, we discovered it was closed to residents due to a christmas party booking taking place in the restaurant. We weren't informed of this when checking in.Upon arriving at the restaurant we asked and were told there was a party but we could use the lounge bar. This was very busy with party goers too.

    "It would have been good to know whether the allocated room had a window with a reasonable view. If room with such a view was unavailable, then room costs could/should be adequately reduced. Short though our visit was, we cannot fault the way we were looked after and cared for by the hotel staff. Wining and dining at the hotel was presented at a most satisfactory level. Were we to visit the surrounding area again we would have no hesitation in returning to the Quality Hotel, or in recommending it to other friends/family." (97486170)

    Overall cleanliness of the room. Friendliness, helpfullness and a willingness to assist, when required to do so, from all levels of staff we encountered. A very nice customer friendly professional approach, was clearly applied by all staff.

    I've stayed in this hotel a number of times and never had a problem with the accommodation or the staff. The rooms are usually very clean and comfortable, and the service is usually very good.

    This time I was given the wrong room key and had another guest walk into the room as he had been booked into it after I arrived. This also caused confusion when I ordered room service and the food was cold by the time it arrived. The room was scruffy with black marks and on the walls and the fire alarm went off at 1am.

    Bath plug did not fit. Shower too hot and not possible to turn it down. Bar closed on return (1am ish). Long wait for night porter before could retrieve key.

    the rooms were comfortable and quite clean.

    the shower curtain is too close to the bath to allow you to have a good shower.it keeps sticking to you when you are taking a shower.

    The receptionist was excellent, she was very welcoming and always pleasant & friendly. The food was very good and well presented. The shower was dated but was hot and of a good pressure.

    The room was tired and definately in need of an update. Satellite TV would be a good idea in the rooms and not just in the small lounge area. Cups & spoons were dirty and had to be washed. Bathroom was dated and a bit tatty. Hotel is situated next to a tatty estate, but in fairness is opposite a new hotel and cinema complexe - Nandos etc.

    The sheets smelt clean

    There had been some sort of spillage on the floor which had not been cleaned adequately and the shower was poor power and cold. Bath was dirty with hair still evident.

    The room requested was a double (Room 118) The bed was not a double, it was two single beds pushed together. We didn't enjoy a pleasant nights sleep.

    "as soon as you walk into the hotel it is obvious it prides itself on high standards, the staff were well presented, efficient & very friendly. the hotel itself is clean & inviting. The rooms are more than adequate very good value for money, although the bathroom tiles could of done with regrouting but that is the only negative point i could pick up on.     "The check in staff were polite and helpful however we went out for the evening as it was valentines day and arrived back at about 11.45 pm, the hotel door was locked and a sign said to ring the bell and the night porter would come and let you in,we rang the bell but no porter came,we kept ringing the bell and knocking on the door but it took almost 15 minutes before he came!! It seemed like it was an inconveniemce for him to have to let us in and said that he had been at the other end of the hotel as it was a big place,not exactly good customer service when he also had a colleague who appeared at the same time as him,i said that it would better if one of them had been at the desk but he had no interest in what i was saying and just walked back behind the desk."     As soon as we opened the door for the room there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke,considering smoking was banned in the hotel and has been since july 2007 (7 months ago) i thought it would have been gone by now or atleast the staff could have used adequate air freshener to clear the smell.

    Room was clean and tidy.

    Empty coffee wrappers in coffee cup, constantly dripping shower. Waiting 40 minutes in the restaurant before having my order taken (there were 6 other guests of which 3 were already eating their meals.
