"it was ok, and only just ok. what do you expect for £60 pounds a night.....a lot better accomodation!!!!" (108020753)

    breakfast good, bed comfortable

booking form stated sky tv in every room-was not true, and tv reception was very poor on all the channels, bathroom was in dire need of decoration and there was no tray in the shower for soaps etc. All the carpets throughout the lounge area to bedrooms were past their sell by date.

That it was near to where I needed to be

The smell in the corridor , the damp patch on ceiling in dining room and the office desk being in the dining room .

"Sure enough it was a cheap (for a London prime area) hostel (transparently calling itself a 'Guest House'). So we expected an OK room, with a few basic facilities. But; we had no kettle despite having a cabinet with coffee & sugar, and the mattress was far too old with long protruding springs. What was worse was that the shared bathroom had no shower head, and when we told the staff when we booked in, it still wasn't fixed the following morning when we wanted showers. They pointed out a second bathroom, but it was uncomfortably unclean." (97201866)

    Unpretentiousness, simplicity, location.

    Facilities, the matress.

"Disappointing - there were problems with the accuracy of the information that printed out with the boking form." (97616825)

The hotel was local to Twickenham and reasonably priced.

There was a large stain on the carpet - only one bedside light in a twin room (bed opposite sides of the room) and a large fridge served as a bedside cabinet. The shower head had to be held in the hand.

suited our needs for location, transport and shopping

breakfast, although adequate, was nothing special and we are used to being asked if we would like more toast or coffee in other hotels where we stay, but this was not done here, although it is possible that had we asked the breakfast staff they would have complied with our requirements.

"The hotel was easy to find, had free parking and was only a few minutes walk away from Hounslow centre. It was only 30 minute walk to Twickenham stadium and Twickenham stoop rugby ground, but a bus route was easily accessible (we prefered to walk and stop at the pubs on the way). The room was adequate, only problem was that it was really warm during the night! Otherwise, was what we would expect from the price (pretty cheap) x" (99806196)

    from Providence , United States;US  on  January 10, 2007

"The hotel was very convienent to the airport and priced appropriately for the area. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, but that was partially expected for such an inexpensive room. The hotel is old and the rooms and hallways reflect that there hasn't been rennovations in quite some time. The stay was acceptable for the price, but I would not recommend to others." (99394254)

It was close to the airport

The room was rather smelly (hotel allows smoking in rooms).
