It was a good welcome. We could ask anything. You took the time to tell us all information plus extras. Very kind. Good breakfast. Personal wishes could be made. Quiet breakfastroom. Clean, fresh air everywhere.

    A bar would be great.

"This is a good value for money hotel for people wanting to visit London on a budget, we only paid £60 for a double room and that included a full cooked breakfast too - its warm and clean and you get a great welcome from the staff." (107261894)

The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a ready smile. The hotel was very clean, well tended, and there was plenty of free parking in the front which meant we could leave our car and go off on the tube to see the sites. The hotel is situated outside the congestion zone too. The receptionist was very helpful directing us to the right train station so we could access the London transport system.

The corridor to the rooms is cold and smells strongly of disinfectant. If this was to be made more inviting it would help the overall feel of the hotel accomodation" (107190331)

local bus route. Bedroom was clean. Nice breakfast.

The groute in the tiles in the shower were black. Staff do not understand what de-caffinated means. Asked if they had de-caffinated tea or coffee and was handed a MUG!!! Then asked what make of tea it was. Caffine makes me ill. Luckily I had my own. Also on booking it offered to answer a question but no one replied. No shower gel or shampoo had to go out and purchase some.

Was value for money, breakfast was good

We booked 3 months in advanced, confirmed booking 1 month before arrival, the staff had no details of our original booking. Bathroom in older rooms in poor disrepair, no high chairs available, on booking in we had to remind the staff we required a cot, no where to heat bottles or food for baby

the staff where great as my son suffers with ceoliac and they where ok working round him.rooms where clean and tidy and big enough to have a travel cot in it.bathroom was also big although shawer cubical could have bee bigger.was close enough to local places as station was near by.

the room we had was big enough but the windows where really high and was opening on a roof. we dint have no veiw of anything and we felt unsafe to leave windows open on an evening.also the tv had very limited channels.the breakfast was a little disappointing as they where small and was told it would be a full english breakfast and was 1 bacon 1 sausage 2 egg and beans.where was the mushroom, black pudding and fried bread.the price was good value for money so maybe thats why.

Very clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed because we were attending the annual London to Brighton bike ride and the hotel even allowed us to keep the bikes in the rooms, which were very spacious. Close to rail network.

Breakfast is served at 7am onwards and really needs to be from 6am onwards.

The breakfast was the only disappointment: you had to go up to the less than communicative staff and place your order - it was easy not to find this process obvious - and the cooked breakfast was made from the cheapest products possible. Nevertheless, for £60 for the two of us for bed and breakfast it was good value for London." (97630887)

The room was clean, comfortable and functional, in a modern annex to the rear of the hotel.

The hotel was a tad overheated.

"Room clean and adequate. A few stains on the carpet but minor. A little noisy from corridor in the annex where we were as the floor was not carpeted. Could hear people walk up and down and the corridor smelt of cigarettes. Room nothing special but comfortable, well finished and no shortage of blankets or pillows. Ensuite bathroom very modern and good but I don't recall anything other than towels and soap supplied. Railway station just down the road and off street parking. Overall very good if you don't expect anything special. Would recommend it for good basic accommodation." (97271529)

Good and clean with basic adequate facilities (tea, coffee, hairdryer). Off street parking very welcome.

Corridor smelt of cigarette smoke constantly. No radio or alarm clock in room. Supplies basic, no decaf coffee or herbal teas etc. No tissues but this is something that might be expected from a more expensive hotel.

    The room was clean.

The staff were not that great. I asked them to take care of my Grandmother who was the guest in the hotel and they didn't exactly go out of their way for her as I would have hoped. There were quite a few people in the hallways that made her feel a bit at odds and according to her, the stay wasn't that great.

It felt a bit basic due to the long fusty smelling corridors, parts outside looking like a building site and the dining room looking like a transport cafe. But the staff were helpful and pleasant enough, and I had no real complaints about my stay. I would probably consider staying there again if I needed accommodation in that area of London."
