    "This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel over the past year as our friends live around the corner. On both occasions the accommodation has been excellent, the staff aooommodating and the breakfast sufficient to keep you going throughout the morning. I would not have booked for a second time had the first stay been unacceptable." (97918349)

    Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for the shower, not noisy although it is on a main road.

    "Hotel was exactley as we were expecting , We booked a double deluxe room from photo,s on web site and glad we done so as for a deluxe there was'nt that much room , however it was large enough for our needs and had a nicle clean en - suite.     "A very nice little hotel in all respects but i feel I got a room that was one of the less desirable ones. I would book again but ask for a room not in the sub basement" (97390509)

    Clean, comfortable and very nice staff. Very good position (and reasonably quiet for central London)Very good breakfast, nice little bar area.

    The room was in the sub basement, very very hot and i couldn't open the window being so exposed on that level. The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate but in need of refurbishment.

    convenient location for stations

    street & front door lights shining through bedroom window and corridor light under door kept me awake along with front door buzzer and slamming into early hrs + creaking floor of room above and sirens along road.Room was very hot with windows closed and fan on all night.

    "This was an experience I would rather not repeat. The check in procedure was promising but it went downhill from then on. I was placed in a top floor room which was extremely hot although there was a fan provided. The climb to the top floor is not for the faint hearted. The shower room was no more than a converted cupboard. The room service was terrible with the staff not even regognising the item ordered fro the menu, when it did arrive it was not correct and I was overcharged. There was no management presence to report my grievances to. I was awoken at 01.30am by adjacent residents and there conversation went on until 04.30am which was all audible through the wafer thin walls. The only plus of this hotel was the clean room and acceptable breakfast but a good nights sleep is more important!" (99897887)

    "My room had a double bed, flatscreen tv and was clean and nicely decorated. Staff at check in desk were friendly. The breakfast was nice, with the option of a cooked breakfast if you wanted it. It was no more than ten minutes walk from Victoria station, so was well located also, and fairly straightforward to find if you followewd the map from the website." (99371576)

    "Outside of hotel looks good but inside needs general updating and refurbishment. Floors were uneven and step to get into hotel had a step down into hotel. Not too bad for getting in but very dangerous on going out. No notice pointing out that there was a step. Pimlico room (dining rooom) was definitely in need of a makeover." (99595645)

    "This is a nice hotel in an desirable section of London. The staff were helpful and accomodating. The room was small, but that should be expected in most mid priced hotels in London. The only real complaint was the insect bites we experienced through the night. The restaurant was very nice and the staff there went out of their way to make us feel at home." (3304897102)

    Staff was friendly and helpful. Wait staff in restaurant were particularly nice.

    We had multiple bug bites during the night. I don't know if these were mosquitoes or some other creature. The hotel should look into window screens and possible exterminaters services.

    "The room was booked for an overnight stay. We found the staff friendly, cheeful and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, bright, near local points of interest and had everything you could need for an overnight stay. The room may have been a bit small for longer stays.     "We booked this hotel, for the location, as we arrived by coach, and the fact that the tube was very close. The intention of the trip was to take in a couple of shows. We had no trouble getting around. The hotel has a restaurant, which serves very good meals. The only critisism, I have is ,at breakfast time you some times have to wait for a table, if a lot of guests arrive for breakfast at the same time.     The accomodation was excellent, the room was very spacious, and very clean, the standard of cleanliness, was very high, and unlike most hotels the replenishment of the coffee, tea ect, was excellent.

    I have no dislikes at all.

    It would be helpful if the 'blurb' explained there was no lift. (Stairs may be a bit of a problem for arthritic knees!)

    "Owner managed hotel with excellent delightful staff. Our double room was very tiny and up alot of stairs. Not so good with an arthritic knee. However the young man who greeted us carried our cases and couldn't have been more helpful. Convenient for Victoria and does seem to be competitively priced for this convenient location." (2926822)

    "Excellent small hotel in a great location, near to Victoria Station bit in a quiet, pleasant area away from the hussle and bussle. Clean, efficent and friendly staff.     "Die Awards mit denen auf der Hompage des Hotels geworben wird sind Auszeichnungen für kleine Hotels und sind auch schon von 1991/92." (2269491)

    Das Hotel ist von Victoria Station gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls gut. English Breakfast wird nach Wunsch fisch zubereitet.

    Der Frühstücksraum liegt allerdings im Keller, zwar mit Fenstern aber eben mit entsprechender Aussicht. Die Flure und Treppen sind sehr eng, vielleicht hatten wir mit dem Zimmer 34 unter dem Dach auch Pech, es war auch sehr klein.
