"I am amazed that this hotel has and is getting away with renting these rooms which cannot possibly come up to health standards by any stretch of imagination." (97805550)

The staff were courteous other than that the place was a disaster. The rooms were extremely small even for London, the moduler shower was too small even for a child, the shower head leaked everywhere. There were no good points!!!!!!

The toilet took five times to flush,No drawer space, The wardrobe was the size of a broom cupboard, we had to walk sideways to get around the bed, insuficient light in bathroom,we had to live out of our suitcases for twelve days. I am English and return to London each two years. This is the worst accomodation I have had in twenty severn years and I am ashamed that it is offered to visiters from other countries.

"In view of above hotel was barely worth the £83 paid.Would only rercommend if my dislikes were rectified." (97277681)

Room was good size. Beds comfortable.

Wasbasin was old and dirty looking. Bath soap dispenser was empty. Lighting in bathroom poor especially for shasving. Showerhead was partially clogged. Sash window on ground floor onto street could not be opened at top. Bottom opening was a security concern. Extractor fan in window did not work.

"I don't think this hotel deserves a three star rating - it is a stretch to be rated two star. When booking over the internet, my goal was to stay in a three star hotel." (97812106)

It was in walking distance to It was in walking distance to to both Victoria Train / Tube Station and Pimlico Tube Satation.

The room was not adequately cleaned - tiolet commode was not cleaned and the used coffee / tea cups were not wahed out. The tap on the bath tub / shower leaked - a strong drip.

No good points, stay away from this hotel.

The room was not just small, it was as big as a small bed! It was so cold and when i told this to the staff they said the weather was nice so they don't use the central heating. I guess they have some kind of a central heating in their skin, it was too bloody cold at night. And I think someone entered the room at night! It was the worst hotel experience of my life. Horrible horrible.

"The Victoria Inn is what you get by booking late in this area of town and at this price. There are better hotels on the Belgrave Road than this. OK to crash out for one night, but I wouldn't have stayed much longer. Everything had that feel of being 10 years beyond its useful shelf-life. Decent enough value but instantly forgetable." (97370793)

Booked late. Allocated a triple room. Good size room. Belgrave Road always a good location for restaurants and pubs at back of Victoria. Great water pressure in shower.

Tired, dated furniture and decor. Corridor areas still smell of stale smoke despite smoking ban for almost a year now. Washed out bed covers, peeling paintwork, cigarette stained window sill. Needs a complete makeover. Please no powdered milk in the tea and coffee making equipment!

the cleanliness of the sheets and the breakfast was nice

A shabby room. TV on wall fitting which made moving around dangerous. Soap dispenser didn't work - was told it would be seen to but it wasn't - we had to insist again. Bedspreads dirty.

"I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone." (107190867)

    cheapness; convenience.

Rooms very pokey; dining room in particular totally inadequate for number of guests : no natural light in dining room; very short time/very early breakfast which was unnecessary as it was only the simplest buffet breakfast; although internet access was promised there was no printer so I could not check in for my flight on-line and print out my boarding passes and staff would not oblige me in this even though they clearly had the facilities.

You could hardly move round the bed the room was that small and we had an room attached to our room that was locked obviously a family room if required but I could hear everything I even heard them pull up their zips !!! absolutely no privacy. The bathroom reminded me that I was about to walk into a caravan it had a plastic floor plastic walls and plastic vanity unit.

"Size and quality of the facilities were inadequate. Late breakfast time (7.30 am)." (97890684)

    The staff was friendly.

Tthe toilet/shower where combined about the size of a tea-towel. The shower had to operated from outside the curtain, and the faucets worked very slowly. There was not enough space to dry yourself, you kept touching the walls and ceiling all the time. There was noise from the corridor and the rooms around me. There was a large crack between the door and floor and the outside light came in during the night.

    Price

The bathroom facility was just about 'adequate' - it resembled a caravan bathroom. Very very small, all-in-one moulded plastic. The shower was tiny and the temperature kept dipping to cold. I could hear everything in the other rooms - no sound proofing.

Big enough to accommodate three people.

The room we were allocated was at the basement just next to the lift machinary room. Every time someone take the lift, the machine operated and created annoying noise which made us unable to sleep in the night. Dependent on when the lift was working (whether you are lucky enough), we were either waken up by the machinery noise at 0345 hrs on the first night or at o630 hrs on the second night. The room should not be used as accommodation for guests. We don't we were the only guests who had complaint.

"Overall The hotel was pretty much what I expected and needed. Easy to get to from Victoria station. Quite spartan in decor and only getting a continental breakfast didn't help you get off on the right foot for the day ahead!! If you want something cheap and fairly central to the sights, go for this. The staff there are extremely polite and helpful and did their upmost to offer up several suggestions to any resteraunts and bars we asked about." (99853815)

It was in an excellent location and very handy for Tate Britain, Houses Of Parliament and other of the usual sights. It was also very quiet at night.

The directions from Pimlico station could have been a little clearer but it didn't take long to figure out where we were going. When arrived the staff were very friendly and checked us in efficiently. The rooms were clean and spacious and well maintained. The self-service continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The receptionists were most helpful in giving us advice about travelling around, how to get to places etc and very warm and friendly. On the whole, I thought this hotel was excellent value for money, would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again myself." (99813567)

"I cannot really recommend this hotel to any single traveller who is over medium size (height, weight or both). The en suite facility is a bad joke. A somewhat small, dated plastic box in the corner of a small room. More reminiscent of a shower/loo in a 1970s camper van. If you have a shower (and here we are verging on what the actual definition of a shower is) the loo and floor are soaked should you not complete your ablutions in one visit. Overall the room was cramped, had no air con (but knew this in advance) and one small/medium window. Given the room appeared in the roof space it provided far from ideal accommodation on a warm summers evening." (3304861435)

    It was clean and tidy

The en suite facility is a joke! In reality it was a cramped, plastic box within a pretty small bedroom. No air conditioning, small window and a room located on the top floor do not create comfortable conditions
