"Was adequate for the purpose of the stay" (107199247)
Hotel very conveniently located and would be reasonably priced if the room which we were given was a reasonable size - definitely too small for 2 people - however we did arrive early and were able to get the room as we needed to change our clothes to go to a wedding. Staff very pleasant.
The bedroom poor and no brfeakfast room available - this however should be rectified shortly

Excellent location for our needs.
Hotwater shower tap came off in hand, couldn't adjust water temperature. Room too warm. No breakfast included.

"First impressions were good. The reception area was clean and shiny and what you'd expect from a London hotel but after riding the elevator to the floor we were greeted by the instant smell of cigarette smoke all along the corridor to our room, which had 'no smoking' signs on the wall. The room was a good size and clean but in this day and age to not have double glazing was almost unforgivable. We both got virtually no sleep because of the noise outside. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly so filled with water without having to use a plug! After a long day we just wanted to watch some TV and fall asleep but the reception on the set was unwatchable so that relaxing evening was dashed. I phoned down to reception to see if it could be fixed and was given an excuse and informed that it wouldn't be fixed any time soon. The staff on reception the following morning seemed more interested in their own conversation than checking us out so I just threw the room cards on the desk and left. We've stayed in Best Western hotels before and had no problems so this was a bit of a let down. We won't be staying in this one again." (97978066)

"The room was smaller than anticipated especially as it was an upgraded executive room. The shower was only just warm and the foam pillows were most uncomfortable, although we did not ask if their were any other option. The lights operate with a key card which would have been helpful to know before we were plunged into darkness. However the hotel is very central and the staff were fairly helpful and very pleasant" (97783510)
very modern bathroom and lovely full length balcony windows, very comfortable beds
shower warm water inly, foam pillows very small room

"It was disappointing not to be told when booking that there was extensive refurbishment work taking place at the time of my stay. The common areas, reception / bar etc were essentially a building site. On a more positive note, in terms of location and price the hotel was ideal. I would recommend once the works have finished." (97293087)
Nicely furnished room, comfy bed.
The television did not work and a large, clearly visible area behind the bed had not been cleaned for a considerable period of time and was thick with dust / dirt.

"The breakfast was a big let down - no range atall for the price! And the tv was also a let down. The decor of the room was nice and was the only pleasant part of the hotel experience. Staff weren't very friendly at reception for check-in and check-out, which is a big let down, these reasons have put me off the hotel and refrain from booking in the future. The refurbishment didn't really affect the stay." (97026474)
nice room - but the tv didn't work! Which was a big let down.
Staff weren't really on top of things, didn't know how long we were staying for, were quite rude at check out, which put us off

"Good. Noisier than usually experience in central London. Maybe no double glazing? We would stay here again but look into a larger room." (97249839)
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with beverage facilities and the nice touch of biscuits(cookies) Good location for central London and underground lines.
The room was much smaller than anticipated.

"The location is very convenient. Travel to and from Airports. It was most helpful to be able to have a Hotel arranged vehicle to Heathrow. It would have been great to have such a service available upon request on arrival." (97982232)
Management and staff were very helpful and very courteous especially Mohammad the night Manager.
Accomodation was excellent and the cleanliness was impeccable. The only dislike was the key tag not working but Mohammad was most helpful in sorting out the problem.

The accomadation was basic but adequate for a 1 night stay. For longer stay room was probably a little small for 2.

"This is a good Hotel in a convenitent location, just off Oxford Street. The staff were friendly. The single room I had was small but had a good sized ensuite bathroom. The only negatives were at check-in, I arrived a bit early and was asked to sit and wait and they'd let me know when it was ready, but they seemed to forget about me as when I went back to the desk an hour later I was told my room was ready and I could go up. Also there is only one guest lift which was small and quite slow, I would have been happy to use the stairs but other than the fire escape chart on the back of my room door these weren't marked. Overall a good hotel and I would go back." (99053440)

"Check in process was a bit slow. I was passed from one person to another before the process actually commenced. Room was compact (but hey, this is London)and furnishings and fittings somewhat worn. Breakfast was basic but ok. Would have been more helpful if staff in the breakfast room left a teapot/coffee pot on the table as it was a bit difficult to attract their attention for top-ups. A satisfactory stay if you are (literally) looking for a bed for the night. A great location for West End attractions." (99473579)
Excellent location. Well placed for tubes and the West End.
Hotel room a bit tired-looking. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit worn. Could do with some refurbishment.

"Our first room, 409, had faulty locks, we were locked in on two occaisons which was very distressing, as 30 minutes earlier the fire alarms had gone off, only later did we find out that it was an error. We had to be moved, this involved re-packing our cases to be moved to 112. This room had no heating and the windows dod not close fully leading to a cold night, the heating was eventually fixed after a couple of hours, but again causing a great deal of inconvenience. The main lift did not work at all during our stay, we had to use the service lift which could only accomodate two people at a time, this was very claustrophobic, so for the remainder of our stay we used the stairs. The bar ran out of draft beers on out first night and only served very expensive bottled beers." (3305558040)

"Overall we loved the hotel and the location was fantastic. The room was very clean and well-equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries. However it looked onto the fire-escape and some vents which made the room very dark during the day and also the air a little grimy. As mentioned above the room was adjacent to the lift so we were woken alot during the night by people getting out of it. On our second morning there was such a long queue for breakfast that we had to skip it - even though we had paid for it. If we had known this was likely to be the case beforehand we would have taken breakfast in our room, even at the extra cost. Perhaps this could be mentioned at reception on arrival." (3305516622)
The room was very clean and very well equipped with towels etc. The check-in was fast and efficient.
We stayed in room 123 which was next to the lift and so, at night we were woken a number of times by people getting off and chatting before moving towards their rooms.

This hotel is a short walk away from Marble Arch tube station and just round the corner from Oxford Street, making it a pretty central location. Our room was a very acceptable size, very clean, with a lovely bathroom. There were tea making facilities, with plenty of supplies. Despite some extraneous noise (unavoidable in London), the hotel itself was very quiet.
