    "In general, I thought that hotel was not up to Best Western standards." (99193918)

    The location

    The air conditioning was not working. The door to the terrace wouldn't lock so it was of concern for leaving any valuables in the room. There was no porter to assist with the luggage.

    The lobby area was nice and our bathroom was clean. The night staff was very kind.

    The room was fairly small, the door was not sound proof, the decoration was poor, and most importantly for us since we were driving, the parking facilities were not easily accessible. We were traveling with a small baby and it was sort of difficult to get all the luggage from the car in the hotel.

    Room was very clean and new

    Air con didn't work; restaurant was not open at the weekend which is really inconvenient as we were not easily walking distance to restaurants

    "For a short stay in Lyon this hotel is reliable and convenient to the Gare Perrache. For a longer holiday stay, it was a bit remote from the main town; the train station separates the hotel from the main town and the only access is through it, and walking though it at night is not the most pleasant experience. i would not recommend it for a single female traveller."     Very friendly and helpful staff; allocated (as requested) a cool and quiet room.

    The breakfast was of poor quality and expensive. In the bathroom, there was only a hand held shower.

    "The lifts to the rooms were small and the automatic light did not come on when the lift dropped you off at the floor where the room was so finding th eroom for the first time was to say it politely -- difficult The area is getting a face lift and I hope the hotel does as well as it is in a good position and the city around the Cathedral is worth a visit" (2333852)

    It needs a paint upgrade and was a bit scruffy

    "The bathroom and toilets are separate. The toilet is so small that a normal person hits their knees when sitting down. No faucet in the toilet, so you have to do your business, cross the room, go into the bathroom and wash your hands, which is a huge turnoff." (1551498)

    les petits déjeuner : vienoiseries probablement de la veille. le room service quasi inexistant (choix de 4 assietes froides). le personnel de reception absolument pas souriant. le matelas a certainement fait la derniere guerre etc etc etc
