    the room was nice

    the service was not good. the lamp was broken and we asked the staff to fix that becaus we did not have light and nobody came.we asked again but no one came.i wish for a possebility to drink hot drinks in the room

    "I booked this hotel having seen a warm summers evening picture on the website. No restaurant, pool, tea in room and poor information about access to the city center made the stay a bit depressing. I felt that the hotel as I have in other Best Western Hotels neede a kick up the backside! Would love the chance to do this as a travelling trouble-shooter for the company. gis a job!" (1543864)

    Quiet, warm, secure and accessable

    No restaurant, no facilities(tea,coffee,etc)in room. To far away from city center-hoped it was within walking distance.

    "If I had known that buses into town (2+km) stopped at 19.20, from town at 19.40 and not at all on sundays i wouldn't have booked hotel as taxi fare 10+ euros" (2715484)

    "Suited our needs for a weekend visit to Avignon. Food: evening menus limited, breakfast sufficient. Room was pleasant but toilet area only suitable for a child (too small) needed to sit sidesadle on loo.Parking facilities and security vgood. Staff very polite and helpful.Only problem we had was mosquito bites in the room..perhaps related to season?" (2829288)

    It was quiete and away from the busy city. Parking was good and safe.

    Maintenance of hotel has been neglected a bit.

    "The location of the hotel is in a bad area of town and requires an automatic gate for security. It is too far from the historic area of Avignon. Overall, the hotel was dirty and needs to be improved drastically. There were black hairs on the bedspread and on the floor. There was no refridgerator in the room or minibar. The decor needs to be upgraded. The paint and furniture choices were unappealing (hunter green trim, maroon doors, bright yellow bedspread,...yuck!) This hotel should be re-classified as a 1 star."     The day-time reception people were helpful with finding a babysitter.

    The hotel needs to be cleaned. There were black hairs on the bedspread and floor. The bathroom was filthy.

    "A quiet and friendly hotel a bus ride away from the centre of Avignon.Travelling without a car meant I had to use public transport or taxis to get to the centre of Avignon.The location of this hotel is far from the centre and I had not realised this when I booked as I like to walk around the city at night but this was not easy. Buses run frequently through the day but not later in the evening so it is necessary to get a cab back for 8€. I was advised by the taxi driver not to walk in the area at night as it is not safe....and looking at the run down quarter with high rise flats I could see his point,but this did not affect a truly pleasant stay in a comfortable hotel. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and adequate. Breakfast offers a variety of cereals,fresh fruit and pains. At breakfast coffee is served in thermos and has that distinctive taste which I find disappointing,but it is possible to have fresh coffee from the bar for an extra 3€. The breakfast is laid out as a buffet and it is possible to help oneself to as much or as little as you wish. The swimming pool with loungers is a plus and very restful. The menu for dinner in the restaurant is adequate but not an adventure of French cuisine. On the whole this hotel offers a relaxed,friendly and pleasant environment for either a solo traveller,a family or couple and I would stay there again." (2643797)

    the evening menu. the salads were large and clumsy with vinigrette out of a bottle. there was little provision of vegetarians and no hot alternatives for vegetarians.

    "Some of the staff were very nice, some were less service minded. We were five-six minutes late from check-out, and there was a phone call from the reception in a very unpleasant tone." (2517175)

    Good value for money, easy to find and nice rooms - even though we selected a very low price level.

    "The hotel was perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay. We were grateful to the receptionist for telling us that the best way into Avignon was by bus, but would have been grateful if she had told us that the last bus leaves Avignon quite early in the evening. We struggled to find a taxi (train station!). The only real issue was that the hot water for tea the next morning was luke warm!" (2445837)

    Very nice and pleasant terrace near the pool (perfect for breakfast).

    Parking door requires to go outside the car to enter a code. It'd be better if we could enter the code from the car. A fridge in the room would be a plus.

    "Our stay was very satisfactory and rated high in comparison with the other hotels of equal value where we stayed during our 15 nights in France. We were very comfortable here and felt welcomed by the staff." (2334213)

    It was a comfortable atmosphere where we were able to relax and rest

    We would have appreciated extra towels in the bathroom and wash cloths for bathing.

    "Hotel is located approx 15 minutes outside of Avignon, thus the reduced price. Price was good. Restaurant in hotel provided breakfast only due to time of season. Lunch and dinner meals had to be bought elsewhere. The only area available was Centre Ville. If no car available to guest, then local bus service to Centre Ville was limited and didn't run after 7 pm. Most restaurants don't serve dinner until 7 pm. Would be beneficial for hotel to provide shuttle service." (1525846)

    Even though the restaurant was open for breakfast only, the front desk was very accommodating in providing a light lunch. It was greatly appreciated after a long travel (no restaurants in the area).

    "Arriving in the dark on a sunday evening needing a meal, we were given no map of where to get a meal. We walked to the city by localroad signs but did not see a good restaurant. Reception could have been more helpful. We didn't want to drive into town as we didnt know about parking etc. A good local map would be useful. Everything else good." (1607365)

    The room is big and clean. Service is good.

    The hotel is a bit far away from the tourist interests and no public transport is available near the hotel. The only way to reach the destination is by taxi or on foot. The dinner at the restuarant is a disaster to us. Thought it is only EUR 10 per menu, I have to say the food is terrible. The wine cost EUR 12 but it is not as good as we expected. We spend less money and enjoy much better wine in other places of Avignon.

    "While we were pleased with the hotel as a stop-over, we would not recommend eating at the on-site restaurant (except for the petit déjeuner) as the quality of the meal we had on the Sunday night was very poor. We could not recognize the dish as chicken, other people around our table who ordered the same dish had the same problem and one couple went as far as to tell the server that their meal was not agreeable at all."     Clean, nicely laid out room. A good modern bathroom. Fairly easy to find when driving. Easy enough access (by car) to the vielle ville.

    "Trop loin du centre ville (5 kM), sur le plan il etait question de 15 mn du centre ville, une voiture est donc fortement recommandée. Pour ceux qui comme nous n'avaient pas prevu la voiture, bien leur indiquer le chemin d'accès. Cet hotel est proche d'une zone HLM et camp fortement deconseillé et egalement proche de la rocade donc quand on ne connait pas il est tres facile de se perdre" (3304434014)

    Parking super protégé. Bien placé quand on a une voiture.

    Bruit sourd aléatoire vers le toit au dessus de notre chambre (N°32) Petit déjeuner cher (10 Euros). On ne sait pas si on paye quand on réserve: Le n° de carte Visa est demandé !! En fait, il faut payer à l'hotel au moment du Check Out .
