"We enjoyed our stay at the Stillorgan Park Hotel, although it was only for one night. We thought that it was a good distance from the city if you wanted to have somewhere slightly out of the centre of Dublin, but it was still within a car's journey. It was a pity that we were situated at the front of the hotel as the N11 runs past it and the traffic was relentless from 5.30am antil late in the evening. (it wasn't such a problem as our stay was just overnight, but any longer and we may have asked to move rooms) The food served in the 'Turf Club' bar looked fresh and tasty, and the room service menu was also good. It was just a pity that we were only there for one night as I would have liked to have tried the spa." (3304680620)
We found that the overall feel of the hotel was very welcoming and the service was good.
The room we were in faced the main road at the front of the hotel and was constantly noisy.

Pleasant hotel, good reception staff, good bar and breakfast staff. Very obliging - order taxi for onward journey.
Nothing - suggest small bottle of water in room.

The room was large and very clean and newly decorated. We stayed in three hotels during our holiday, one in Galeway, one in Paris and the Stillorgan Park. All were 4 star but we all liked the Stillorgan Park the best.
No complaints.

"as we had booked for a week end treat we found ourselvesfeeling very pampered and surrounded by a touch of luxuary we found the hotel was a bit far from the city centre but the location and times of the bus service more than made up for this" (3304545094)
clean and spaciousand very comfortable

"Would like to have known that there was iron facility, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. There was NO price of breakfast shown in the room and there were no details of meal times etc, travel links, church service location and times." (3304514199)
comfortable and clean. Especially liked the air conditioning and the bed.
No milk with tea/coffee in room, the TV remote control was defective. It was very noisy in corridor during the night leading to a disturbed night's sleep.

TO be honest the main thing was its location - it was ideal for the purpose of our visit
AC broken i room, rooms tiny, housekeeping knocked at the door at 8am to see if we wanted to room cleaned. We were checking out that morning and should not have been disturbed at all. 8 months pregnant and all I wanted was a small rest!!! Totally unacceptable.

"This hotel is an economical choice for staying in Dublin. Within easy reach by public transport to all of the local delights of Dublin's fair city. The staff were friendly and welcoming and aided us in how to get into town and where were the best places to go to. We will definately be returning for august bank holiday." (3304644308)
The friendliness of the staff, the convenient location, the standard of the rooms and obviously the price!
strong sewerage smell in the reception area

"Although the room facilities were excellent room 135 is situated over what we were eventually told were kitchen boilers. They were left going all night and neither my wife nor myself got any sleep and this caused extreme distress as my wife was having hospital tests the next day and needed to rest. We would use the hotel again but next time we will specifically ask for a quiet room away from the kitchen." (3304716286)
very clean and very comfortable
Room 135 is over kitchen boilers which were making noise all night.

"4 star hotel with 5 star service. Reception staff were very helpful and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We were not happy with the first room we had as although it was a nice room it was noisy due to an extractor situated right outside the window. The room we were given instead was large, airy and bright and above all, spotless. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel." (3304501100)
Everything
Distance from the city but the bus stop is outside the door and the hotel run a shuttle service.

"The hotel is about 3 km from city centre but is very well served by public transport and the aircoach directly from the airport cost 12 Euro return. The staff are excellent and will always help if they can.The hotel restraunt is imacculately clean and service and food are excellent. The room we were allocated number 115 was clean and the bed in our room was very comfortable although the room was probably the lower end of the available rooms as the bathroom was in need of some attention ie tile filler/sealer and the toilet did not flush that well. There was also a constant humming/vibration from an adjacent room or floor near us. Overall though a comfortable stay we would definately use the hotel again(not room 115)" (3304366915)
The staff were very fiendly, efficient and helpful.Everywhere in the hotel was very clean
I got the impression our room 115 was the lower end of the accomodation,it was next to a corridor door which banged and woke us if someone passed through and there was a constant loud humming sound from an adjacent room or floor

"We found the staff very helpfull and friendly, there attitude was keen and at no time were we left waiting. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the entertainment in the bar later. The hotel was easy to find and was in a good central location from which to travel to Dublin or the beach." (2598790)
Air conditioning made the room very comfortable in the hot weather. In adition to the usual room furniture there was a desk and casual table with seating, although the room was a little too small for us to take advantage of these features.
Our room had no extractor fan or window in the bathroom.

Only a 1 night stay but the bar being available to residents until the early hours made for an excellent night .
Having to share a triple room with 2 mates , 1 of whom has a bad wind problem !The hotel could do with removing the duvets off the roof .Not ours , I hasten to add .
