"This hotel is opposite the station so is ideal when coming in by bus or train. It is a long way from the Duomo but near to metro station. There was a faint rumble of underground trains during the day but not at night. The rate varies considerably depending on dates of stay. One night was 270 euros, the following week it was 100 euros." Non smoking as requested. Large, comfortable bed and pillows. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The hotel is well situated, across the road from the Central Station. Don't be put off by the exterior of the hotel, it's quite nice inside. In addition you can find a lot of people hanging around the station, but they don't cause any trouble. Might want to beware of pickpockets though, like in any major city. From a previous reviewers comment I would recommend requesting a quiet room on a high floor, so that you won't hear the underground which runs under the hotel. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff both at check in and in the bar/restaurant are very helpful and speak excellent English.

"Arrived at the Central Railway Station stop on the Airport Shuttle Bus which only cost 5 Euros each (runs every 20 minutes) The hotel was directly opposite the stop - very convenient. The Check-In was good. We had already requested a room on an upper level floor (a tip given by another traveller) and was shown to the 7th floor. The room was very clean and modern. It had a very large bed and pillow menu. There were coffee/tea making facilities in the room - unusual for a European Hotel. The bathroom was lovely and included a small tv for watching while in the bath !! Breakfast was continantal - bread, meats, cheeses, yoghurts etc and very good - service here was excellent. Enjoyed the weekend very much" (99277359)

Although the hotel was in a great location for Central Railway Station it was a little out of the way for main shopping/Cathedral area

"We were very impressed with the standard of our room and the general decor of the hotel. The bed in our room was more comfortable then the one we have at home! All of the staff we had dealings with were very helpful and spoke very good english. You do get a degree of noise from the trains going under the hotel so might be worth requesting a room on a higher floor. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the noise and vibration was minimal. The Malpensa Shuttle bus is very cheap and easy to use for transfers to and from the airport. As you get of the bus at the central station you can see the hotel so there's no messing about trying to find your way around Milan on your arrival. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the hotel and in Milan and would recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay and great value for money." (99018252)
The location of the hotel was great for getting to and from Malpensa airport and also sightseeing around Milan. The room was to a good standard and very comfortable.

"This hotel is a first class act. It is an easy choice if you want great value. The staff was ready to assist us in every way. A door man ready to help us with our luggage. They offered to change our room when they found out we had a problem with the shower exhaust fan. Would definitely rebook this hotel." (2987578)
Cleanliness, space, location and breakfast.
Exhaust fan in shower didn't work. Vibration from the nearby train station.

"Very nice hotel, similar to Malmaison in UK. Rooms are large and well designed. Spotlessly clean. Excellent service at check in and room service. Breakfast good, some hot food included for us Brits. Overall I enjoyed staying here. Only downside is the location, a long walk from the Duomo although very close to the Metro." (3304011171)

The design and style of the hotel was excellent. The low number of rooms on each floor was also appealing.
