    Quick and efficient. Good breakfast but inadequate fresh fruit.

    Rooms did not stock black tea Lift very slow Desig of room could have made better use of space, particularly headroom (4th floor sloping)

    "Stay was ok, just somewhere to sleep. Staff were pleasant but didn't appear overly friendly. Location was good for rail links - metro across the road. Several restaurants/bars around the hotel. " (107256550)

    Very comfortable beds and having air conditioning in the room was welcome.

    Coffee and tea making facilities in the room poor - very small plastic cups (difficult to hold with hot drink inside), plastic spoon became distorted with the heat of the drink and could only make one drink throughout the day, one teabag, 2 coffee sachets and 2 small milks - luckily we took instant tea! One lift was slow and very hot inside. Shower/bath was slippery. Breakfast room layout of food extremely confusing - plates with the coffee and fruit on the other side of the room and not next to the bread,cakes etc. The tea making things were nowhere near the hot water.

    "Was not impressed with value for money in this hotel - night before i stayed in Ibis in Lille which was half the cost and much more value for money. I would not return to your hotel." (97104244)

    The shower did not work, the head of shower was not attached to wall... could not sit on toilet properly as it was so close to wall.

    "We asked for a non smoking room but certainly did not get one. The main problem was the lifts as we were on the third floor and carrying bags first up and then down again on departure as the lifts were broken again did not sit well for the price paid for the accommodation. Also as you go down the stairs the lights keep turning off, very unsettling not to mention dangerous. It was relatively handy to Gare du Nord and Gare l'Est but there are certainly other hotels just as close." (3304188545)

    Closeness to Gare du Nord

    The room smelt of cigarette smoke and the lifts were broken down more often than they worked. The person on reception was scathing of our very limited French and not very helpful.

    "My husband and I have stayed in the Campanile Gare du Nord on a couple of occasions and would recommend the hotel. It is inexpensive, quiet, and situated a matter of a few steps from the Metro and walkable from the station. If, like us, you are travelling with suitcases, not having to get a taxi or negotiate a busy Metro is a definite plus. The hotel is well staffed and the breakfast, for a small additional cost, is plentiful with food to suit most tastes." (3304377784)

    The service was good and the lift worked this time! The hotel is conveniently situated for Gare du Nore and the Metro.

    Not enough clothes hangers and the room was small.

    "The front desk staff were very helpful. If you're arriving or leaving on the London Eurostar, this hotel is about 6 blocks from Gare du Nord -- though too far to walk with heavy suitcases and way too close to please a taxi driver. Though the area closer to the train station is decidedly sketchy, the neighborhood around the hotel is fine -- a normal Parisian neighborhood, not upscale or touristy, but not 'down' at all. In fact, quite safe, because there's a large police station just behind the hotel. Within two blocks, there are groceries, boulangeries and many restaurants, mostly Asian. Most convenient is an entrance to the Louis Blanc subway stop literally across the street from the hotel." (3304414881)

    Great value near Gare du Nord, very clean, Metro stop immediately outside the hotel.

    I liked that the hotel was within walking distance of the Paris Nord and Paris Est train stations.

    The room was rather small, but it was perfect for a busy weekend trip.

    "Ein für den ohnehin schon teuren Parisaufenthalt angemessenes Hotel; leider mit einfachem Früchstücksbuffet. Die wenn auch teure Option zum Parken ist für den Autoanreisenden ein wichtiger Punkt. In Paris möchte ich kein Auto lange stehen lassen. In Hotelnähe sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden und eine Metrostation direkt gegenüber. Empfehlung unter den beschriebenen Umständen." (99666256)

    Gute Lage Freundliche Rezeption

    Kleines Bett Zu hoher Aufpreis fürs Parken Eintöniges Frühstück (Es fehlten z.B. aus unserer Sicht Körnerbrötchen und zumindest ein Ei zu Ostern). Die Angestellte, die für das Frühstück zuständig war, war sehr fleissig, jedoch bei vollen Raum sehr überfordert.

    beaucoup trop bruyant!!! j'avais un concours très important le lendemain et je n'ai pas pu dormir de la nuit malgré des boules quiès à cause du bruit des véhicules: je suis venue à paris de nombreuses fois: le problème vient d'un manque d'insonorisation
