    "We assumed as a hotel there would be a dining room, where we could enjoy a meal in the evening. We were very disappointed with the arrangements, and had to eat in the hotel opposite. Breakfast was very basic, we have never had to serve ourselves to juice and tea or coffee out of machines before. Regret we shall not be returning, this is not our type of hotel." (99187454)

    bathroom very spacious and clean comfy bed and good quality pillows made for a good nights sleep

    "It will be great when the hotels are no smoking, it isn't plesant walking through the smoke into reception - not a nice first impression." (99190870)

    It was roomy and perfectly functional - appreciated the complimentary wine

    Though a non smoking room, could smell cigarette smoke either from other rooms who ignored the no smoking signs.

    "If I had have known that my request for a non-smoking room was not possible, I would not have made the booking. I would most definitely have stayed elsewhere. The facilities in general were dirty. Other guests were very rowdy through the early hours of the night and the hotel took no action. My partner and I couldn't wait to leave and will not be staying at this or any other Holiday Inn establishment until standards drastically improve. A massive disappointment to us both." (99931872)

    The hotel was dirty and smelt of smoke throughout, particularly our room which was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

    "Service friendly. Hotel easy to find and in a good location for motorways to Manchester and Liverpool etc; Cab ordered didn`t know where Knowsley Hall was I was born in Liverpool but - L1,L8 - Kirby wasn1t my area. An available map in the hotel is needed maybe 4-5 mile radius, also maybe a dedicated cab firm?" (3304682130)

    soft bed- we have a tempur mattress so obviously nothing in any hotel can match an £1800 mattress but firmer please!!

    "We were amazed to find a hen party going on until 4 am. This was one of the reasons that we booked an out of town hotel in this chain as we didn't think that they would be used for this purpose. We had a very poor night's sleep as a result of this and wouldn't therefore dream of going back to this particular hotel. Therefore before we booking the hotel we would have liked information that the hotel mey be used for noisy parties. I have rated 'Overall value for money' as poor for this reason. In every other way the hotel was very good value, as we have found with other hotels in this chain." (2495774)

    The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom excellent, the breakfast exactly as advertised.

    "Wouldn't of booked it had had I of known it was only a continental breakfast, otherwise rooms clean and adequate. As already pointed out staff (lady who stated she was duty manger) was very impolite expecially when i asked if the toaster was set correctly. The toast came out white so I put it through again to be told by her can you not read the sign, also when I required milk for the cereal because there were none out she replied your'll have to wait, i'm looking after check-in!"     very good value for money. Breakfast included - buffet.

    A bit noisy if noisy neighbours. No restaurant on site - take away available.
