    polite staff, friendly, clean rooms, reasonable parking rates

    i originally booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. 1 cancelled room for 2 people but kept the room for 3 people. we stayed 1 night before our flight to italy & 1 night on our return. they cancelled room for 1st night but overlooked the cancellation on our return stay. i had to give the reference for the cancellation because they were going to charge me. had i not the foresight to keep the reference numbers, it would have been their word against mine that i had cancelled. poor admin!

    Clean and tidy room. Excellent staff. Very quiet which was a must.

    Value for money? Could have been a little cheaper.

    Key Cards did not work. Staff left me waiting in the corridor and vanished without noticing colleagues. Breakfast was brought to the wrong room.

    Disappointing eating facilities in the Motorway Services if one didn't want chips with everything. It was late in the evening and even an omelette would have been very welcome.

    "I wanted a disabled room with twin beds but was told that there was only a room with a double bed (I am not sure if this was due to the hotel being full or because they were the only facilities). However in my room was a sofa bed which we were able to use as a second bed. If the receptionist had just explained this and provided some extra bedding we would have been very satisfied."     The bed was very comfortable and the choc orange biscuites were delicious!

    I was in a disabled room but was astonished to see that the bathroom had a bath. Had a I needed a wash this would not have been adequate. If I request a disabled room I expect all facilities to be accessible from a wheelchair. The facilities did not meet present DDA standards.

    Clean, nice and covinient hotel close to the airport.

    We could not reach anyone at the hotel to arrange for taxi from the airport to the hotel upon our arrival that was late at night.

    Kyndly reception, availability to update my wrong reservation (2) to a more convenient ones- really apreciated- Booking of the taxi on the early morning

    The inner room air conditioner system was too high noise to be usefull during the night. The in-room wake-up call (presettable from television device) do not work... - please note- not so big problem but there was no big "bad-points" to be noted ;-)

    relatively quiet, car stop convienent for quick items but not for meals. Convienent if catching a very early flight next morning.

    Directions on using bus system not clear and caused delay in transfering to city. could use a info sheet for international travelers on how to catch the bus system.

    The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was labeled as as non smoking room. The tile in the bathroom was moldy in places

    Was given an inferior room ( not as per booking), after complaint was moved to executive room, which is what I had booked. In room Safe did not work

    It was easy to find, and close to the airport. The staff were helpful and friendly .The room was well equipped and clean.

Fed 4 of us off two breakfasts. TV did not include children's programming. No AC and the room was stiflingly hot so the children did not sleep well, neither did the adults. Really good basic hotel for an overnight or as a business traveller. I'm not sure I'd book a family holiday here though." (97887274)

    Decent space and room for the children to sleep in a separate bed. Good shower.

    No A/C, toilet did not flush away waste properly (very gross), Ironing board did not work.

    The friendliness of the reception staff was great. The hotel was easy to access from the airport and perfect for a transit stop at a reasonable price.

    I like how help the staff were even thought we checked in late, the room was warm and clean, the beds were comfortable and there wasnt alot of outside nosie

    "Our only real complaint was the cost but this is England and prices are high everywhere. This is actually one of the lowest prices we could find. The online room reservation was a snap and I received my room confirmation email within minutes. When we arrived it took less than 5 minutes to get checked in. This hotel has relationships with a couple of Taxi services and can have a taxi waiting when you need one. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family traveling on a budget in England.     I am familiar with Days Inn hotels and this stay was typical of my past experiences. The hotel and room were clean and the No Smoking Room appeared to be just that. There was no lingering smoky stench from an old smoking room with a new sticker on the door. The Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful; specifically with directions and taxi reservations. This hotel was located in a Comfort Center. There were several food and service establishments within a 2 minute walk and we found them to be useful during our 2 night stay.

    There was no phone in the room and that may be a problem for some but it was a nice change of pace for us. The bed seemed to sag in the middle and probably could use a new mattress. (Just being picky here)

    "Having stayed at many chain hotels I can say this one rates favourably on price, position, cleanliness and staff. We arrived after 3am (we had advised of this) and were surprised to find we were not alone in this, the reception staff were unfailingly polite even in the face of unexpected and less than sober guests.     Easy to park - lovely and clean - literally 5 mins from airport - and supermarkey for last minute shopping!.

    "Generally a good value stpping place close to Stansted, especially if discount booked on line. Be aware that the toilets are airline style suction variety - very efficient but frighteningly noisy! But you soon get used to it.
