Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast was really good.

Not a great deal of room in our room, 3 of us and extra bed was crammed in. Hotel was in need of decorating.

GOOD LOCATION, CLEAN AND NICE BREAKFAST PROVIDED

ROOM VERY SMALL, WALLS GRUBBY AND MARKED, BEDROOM IN A DIFFERENT BUILDING THAN RECEPTION, WASN'T SHOWN TO MY ROOM AND HAD TO WANDER AROUND FOR 10MINS TRYING TO FIND ROOM IN ANOTHER BUILDING. IRON WAS PROVIDED BUT THERE WAS NOWHERE TO USE THE IRON AS ROOM TOO SMALL

Bedroom too small especially for 3 people, and shower stall very small would not accommodate a large person.

"Good for travellers on a budget and handy for bus and underground stations. Particularly good if travelling into London Euston as it is only a short walk away. It was just a little too 'budget' for me." (99606640)

Cheap for London. Room generally clean. Good, high pressure shower. No problems with hot water. Quiet, given that it is near to a busy area. Breakfast food was adequate.

Brusque dining room staff that could do with further training in decent English hospitality. Orange cordial rather than fresh juice at breakfast. Very small bathroom; I nerely ended up wedged between the toilet and the sink when I first entered and I would describe myself as slim. The toilet seat was broken and remained so for the duration of my stay.

"I enjoyed the room and my stay. It's location was good. Close to the main rail links. The street noise was less than other budget stays i've visited. This hotel is tops out of the 5 that i have been to in and around that area, and would definately stay there again. " (97120670)

The room was very clean, modern and adequately decorated. The breakfast was good value. The security was good. It was definately worth the money spent.

There was no globe in the bedside lamp. The ceiling fan switches on when you put the main light on, but there is no switch to turn it off. The room is quite small... but more bothersome, is that it is too cluttered.

"It was absolutely terrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone." (99349523)

The booking on-line was very simple and quick

On booking in I was not informed about the breakfast that I had paid for and were the facilities for this service was. On the double bed that we were given the was single sheets and blankets laid on it for us to use. The room size was barely big enough for a single bed occupancy let alone double. The en-suite shower water ran cold for over 20 minutes before the water became warm enough to use. The room in the evening and early hours of the morning became to hot to sleep in and caused much discomfort and lack of sleep for both myself and partner, as we where forced to evacuate the room to a cooler area outside the hotel in the park!

When I complained about the gafitti on the walls I was told 'yeah we know about it' Also when told them I had no hot water in my shower i was told 'well the hot water is switched on so it should be hot' there was no attempt to fix the problems or move me to another room. I will not use this hotel again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone." (97010640)

My room was very small. There was gaffitti on the walls. No hot water in shower. Holes in wall. Could not lock door from inside.

First of all: very close to St. Pancras (Eurostar) and Kings Cross, very easy to access. Close to a big subway-centre and still quiet zone. Clean.

Very small bedroom - minimum standards - thin walls - personnel that doesn't speak properly English - breakfast only English (no fruit, yoghourt, no healthy things)

It is just location is very central and convenienc

The room was very small, TV is very old, the shower room is very narrow I couldn't move around. The check in process was very poor with unfriendly receptionist with every shift. Myself is a hotel manager I came down here for conference I was very disspointed with the price I have paid £65 per night. At the check in there is no information have given at all, just the key and that it.

  • 7/10 Anonymous (Mature couple)

Excellent feather pillows and large windows that open. The location is good in that it is close to everything, especially the underground.

I wasn't impressed with the peeling wallpaper or the single bulb overhead fixture. There were no lamps in the room. Both the room and the bathroom were very small. Maybe our room was one of a few that needed to be upgraded. I say this because on two occasions, other guests said that the hotel was nice.

" (97260902)

The hotel was lovely, clean and everything was looked new. We had a family room (4) which was a lovely size. The t.v was not fuzzy,it was very clear with channels 1-5. The breakfast was delicious. I was VERY impressed with our stay :)

The breakfast staff were quite ignorant, didn't seem to understand what I was saying.

Small but clean room, excellent location and was ideal for a busy weekend away in London. Right by the tube and 24hr hour reception which is always a bonus.

Breakfast - had to wait in a queue that went up the stairs before we got a table. Waited a bit longer than expected. What didnt help is that the staff down there just grunted and couldnt even crack a smile! Was also a bit hot in the room.

The breakfast itself and the breakfast service were good. Also its convenience for St Pancras Station made it an easy walking distance.

The inadequate space in the room which was expressed by the Receptionist at check-in who was amazed we arrived with 2 suitcases!!

  • 7/10 Anonymous (Solo leisure traveller)

Convenience of location and friendliness of staff - room was very clean

The water pressure on the third floor was non-existent. No water at all from hot tap at one point and only a trickle from shower at best. Not enough bedding to be sufficiently warm. Resorted to wearing outdoor fleece in bed..........so those were negatives. Would not consider more than a one night stay for those reasons.

    The W.C. was very small.
