    "Generally very efficient, clean and comfortable. The cooking is not sophisticated but it is good value. There are in any case other places to eat in the village. Staff are competent if a little matter of fact. However, the hotel met all our expectations and was good value for money." (99934128)

    "A lovely cosy place to stay. Great rooms with excellent bathrooms, quiet breakfast room without the ubiquitous French radio playing, interesting anttique shop as part of the building. We didn't eat at the hotel though the menu looked fine and good value, and the dining room was very attractive. Only one small glitch was that when we arrived at around 5pm we could get no reply at the door to check in, but we didn't mind and went to have a drink until just after 6, when it was all open with a huge welcome. Not a problem for us, but some people might find it disconcerting. Also note there's no dedicated parking, again not a problem for us in November, but possibly difficult in summer. Overall a great place to stay, as a base for a longer holiday or for stopping on the way through. Don't miss the farm shop almost opposite for fantastic local produce to take home, and for a more formal dinner try the restaurant at the rear of the Bar de la Halle in the main square - great food, atmosphere and value."     "The information on the net was invitng,but did not really prepare us for just how lovely everything was, the rooms,the furniture,the little garden,the food but most of all the very warm welcome. If there is one thing it would have been helpful to have better understood it was that the rooms are reached via an open staircase-our heaviest dog had to be carried up! But maybe that was me not reading thoroughly." (99372325)

    It was delightfully individual, very welcoming and our 3 dogs were very welcome too.

    "This was an absolutely delightful place to stay with quiet rooms, no plumbing noises from anyone elses bathroom. The antique decor was very interesting with lots of artefacts to look at. The outside terrace was a wonderful surprise and we were lucky to be able to eat outside most nights of our stay. The staff were very friendly and courteous but I was glad I speak reasonable French -not a place to stay if your French is minimal. It is probably better to arrive early evening rather than in the afternoon as we did as they may be shut and it was difficult to find anyone to let us in. The village is a very good centre for the area and is very picturesque and well-cared for." (3305004323)

    "Accomadating. Restaurent excellent and eating outside in the courtyard when the weather was hot was delightful. Good cooking. Pleasant, helpful, owner and staff." (3304335555)

    Interesting period decor. Bathroom excellent. Quiet. No noisy air conditioning and yet cool and comfortable.

    New soap each day is wasteful and not needed.

    "This was our first night's stay in our brief visit to the Normandy Region. It was an excellent choice, and was not surpassed by any other location which we visited. In hindsight, we should have booked at least two overnight stays in the Hotel. We hope to return for another stay at some time in the future." (3304738162)

    "la prestation proposée est de qualité, le rapport qualité prix est sans équivalent, le personnel est très sympathique vraiment très très bien, rien à redire, de plus le village est plein de charme" (3304485643)

    excellent hôtel, le restaurant est aussi agréable, la décoration des chambres très jolie

    pas d'amélioration, le niveau était franchement haut de gamme notamment par rapport au prix
