"Location was perfect for our one night stay before heading to the airport, the price was good too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms seemed clean but carpets were questionable. Hard to tell if they were just very worn or dirty. I wasn't comfortable taking my shoes off in the room because of it." (97867361)
The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
The carpets appeared so dirty that I didn't want to take my shoes off in the room also very worn. A coat of fresh paint, replacing carpet and dark green curtains would go a long way in improving appearance.

The friendliness of the receptionist and the way she found a place for us to store our bicycles that was inside and safe
Lack of English from the bar staff who did not understand what we wanted to order, we were also told that the TV downstairs did not have Sky Sports 2 , when we looked ourselves it did have and we were able to watch the Rugby .

"The receptionist on arrival was terrific, friendly and helpful. Some of the other staff were less so. The room was really big and good value for money. The hotel is literally 50 metres from the station and the airport bus stops right outside. Taxi to and from the airport cost 20 euros, which was reasonable for the distance. The people of Brindisi were very friendly, although this may have been due to the fact that I wore a kilt for the duration of my stay." (99652050)

The room was comfortable and clean and the air conditioning worked well.
The frigo bar contained very little and no bottle opener.

"Getting to the town centre from the airport is a matter of good luck rather than judgement as the roads are poorly lit and signposts inadequate. The return journey is even worse. Brindisi must be the world's most secret airport! Local hoteliers must make representations to the local authorities to improve this. All of the money spent on upgrading the terminal will be wasted because of the poor infrastructure. I will certainly be using Bari in the future. The Hotel Majestic is an excellent hotel and served its purpose 100%." (3304153686)
The hotel is conveniently situated for the town centre and easy to find from the airport.
Although the car parking is extremely convenient, it would be better if guests could open the barriers with their own key (or combination lock ?) The morning we were heading off for a meeting, we were blocked in by someone who had parked on the pavement. Perhaps the hotel could do more to discourage this.

Proximity to the station and the port. We were pleasantly suprised by both areas. The manager was very helpful and informative.
1. Price/choice of food on Friday evening; limited choice and very expensive. 2. The third bed (let-down settee) was very uncomfortable.

"THIS HOTEL IS EXTEMLY CONVENIENT FOR BUSES, TRAINS, BOATS AND PLANES. IT IS IDEALLY SITUATED FOR A VISIT TO BRINDISI. WE ONLY STAYED FOR ONE NIGHT, THE STAFF APPPEARED POLITE BUT NOT OVER FRIENDLY. BREAKFAST WAS ADEQUET, BUT NOT VERY IMMANGINATIVE OR PLENTIFUL. IT IS A REASONABLE ENOUGH PLACE TO SPEND A NIGHT WHEN IN TRANSIT, ROOM WAS NICE, LIGHT AND AIRY, BED VERY COMFORTABLE." (2714743)

"When I booked, the restaurant was advertised as being open until 10pm. We arrived at 9pm on a Sunday and it was closed. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. Breakfast was reasonable. We would definitely recommend the hotel and stay here again." (2099347)
Receptionist spoke English, but also encouraged our efforts to speak Italian. Very close to station, but quiet too.
We had to pay by cash, because the credit card machine would not recognise chip and pin, and the receptionist could not over-ride the machine

"Smoking vs non smoking rooms. Was pleased that location was across street from the train station. Stff called cab for us at 5:30 am was appreciative of that. I would request a room with proper working plumbing." (1976637)
Shower was plugged and overflowed after 2-3 min shower. Toilet flushed itself! Vert strange. Room was warm and smelled like smoke.

In rapporto alla rata la camera era a malapena passabile. In linea generale lo é un po' tutto l'albergo, ormai datato negli arredi. La colazione era una poco sufficiente imitazione di una colazione continentale, il tutto con il prezzo di un hotel del nord moderno (..senza ironia posso fare anche i nomi..).
