"I enquired about a group booking with several diffent hotels in the letterkenny area. Not only were they much more expensive, but they all required an additional deposit prior to booking, which would only be refunded pending the state of the room when we were checking out. We had none of this hassel booking through you, and the hotel management were so friendly and nice & never once warned us about keeping the rooms tidy. (for the record, I think we did leave them in an ok state)" (97525345)

Friendly staff. Very helpful. Hotel and Rooms extremely clean

Had to go home the next day!!

"There are no room service menu's so you have to ring reception and have a menu read out. It was very primitive. Also the food in the restaurant is less than appealing so we actually left the hotel and travelled into Letterkenny for a meal. Overall i was not impressed as it was an ordeal to get the basic amenities offered by other hotels such as room service and a hairdryer!" (99098702)

    The bed was comfortable.

The hairdryer in my room did not work and no attempt was made to fix it. Also i ordered room service and i had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for it's arrival and when it did arrive it was INEDIBLE.

"I would return to this hotel again. Staff were friendly, child friendly although some activities would be good for children, esp teenagers( internet connections, pool table)" (3304442177)

easy to find. Youngerr child enjoyed it however not much to do for a 14 yr old girl. 1 yr old boy amused himself with other like children. Staff were very friendly.Enjoyed the provided entertainment.

breakfast was not the best. No real choice of contenental buffet breakfast. Organised activities for children would be good.Drinks were very expensive!

"We had to go to donegal for a business meeting, so we looked at the internet sites for suitable accommodation. We looked up Letterkenny and found several hotels , first we looked at price, then parking, followed by facilities.Mount Errigal ticked all the boxes, from having a relaxing drink with live music, with the option of a 2nd quieter art deco bar if wanted,After a pleasant early breakfast we enjoyed aswim and jacuzzi and refreshed were able to attend to business." (3304885381)

We had a one night stay ,and found all are needs where catered for, everything was excellent,we wish we could have stayed longer.

"Overall we had an excellent stay" (3304332799)

The room we had was great it was on the ground floor which was handy with havivg the buggy. The leisure centre was just down the corridor and we hope to book the same room for Easter next year.

    no dislikes whatsoever

"our last night in the hotel was a nightmare as there was some sort of party going on in the main function room and that was ok.but when it was over the drunks stayed a few doors away and had a party in there room until 7.30 am so i and my partner got no sleep at all i informed the manager the next day that i was not happy and she said she was very sorry.and 1 of the drunks got arrested that morning.but i thought they would have offerd at least some sort of discount for the trouble but it didnt happen.nice hotel but as for that i cant recomend it to someone on the experiance i had" (3304182975)

"I know the hotel well having stayed there several times before. It is convenient for a one or two night stay as I have business associates and friends/relatives in the area. However, I am firmly of the view that refurbishment of older rooms is well overdue." (2730119)

My first room (207) was dowdy and in need of refurbishment. This was not the room I'd booked so I immediately phoned reception and was told it was a 'mistake' and that if I returned the keys to reception I'd be given another room. The second room (611) was twice the size of 208 and freshly decorated with a very comfortable firm bed. the shower was a bit disappointing, but overall the room was fine.

The rooms on lower floors need to be refurbished - tired and old fashioned - too many bus tours methinks!! Breakfast would be better cooked to order - on the first morning hot buffet was cold. Serving from a side hatch in the residents bar area after 11pm on a Sunday night is surely unnecessary - could the whole bar not be opened up?
