"Room and bathroom clean. Good for money. Well connected by bus, tube and train." (99825907)
The room was clean and good for money (73 pounds per night). It's directly connected to the city centre with the bus number 24, which works 24 hours.
To say something, I think there was so much light in the room in the early hours.

"Hotel Victor is adequate for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else. I wouldn't stay here as the main hotel for a holiday in London. I think elderly or infirm people should be forewarned about the stairs and absence of a lift. However, the room itself was clean. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. Bearing in mind this is a London hotel, the cost was reasonable. I would recommend the hotel as a convenient one night stopover but with the reservations outlined above." (97403654)
Inexpensive, bedroom and breakfast room were clean, convenient for Victoria railway & coach stations, several restaurants & pubs nearby
Bedroom on fourth floor and no lift, no assistance offered with suitcase, stairs & landings were scruffy - need redecorating

Clean. Facilities were up-to-date and easy to understand. Staff was courteous and helpful.
We did not like the separate taps on the sink, as the hot water would get extremely hot, leaving the only other choice as cold. Having a combined faucet that blended the hot and cold would be good.

The hotel was clean and tidy with fresh linen and adequate tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was nice and the staff pleasant and helpful.

"cosy room neat and silent private any services like cab , taxi is also provided from the hotel . good reception of guests." (97938098)
the cleanliness and the cosiness of the room was very good . we felt very relaxed withing the room without any noise .the coffee and tea provded within the room was a very good thing to make it anytime and relax. the next day we faced this problem as one of my frends hadnt come back and we had to check out . the receptionist was very helpful and helped me to put the lugaage with them until my fren returned and i could go out wihtout any tension. that was a very sensible thing of him to allow it.
the soaps of the shower room can be changed for hygenic reasons . tooth paste must be also provided atleast when we request they could have bought it .

It was overall good, hotel was in a good location and breakfast was quite good.
It was bit pricey, rooms were a little bit smaller, and breakfast timing should be more, an extra hour i think.

"We really had an impression that the room would be ratter larger than it was, and that was also how it was presented by the website. apart from that. this is the first time we have stayed on Belgrave road, which is a nice enough area, and centrally located. We have sincce been told of what to expect with respect to the size of London Hotel rooms. and in that connection, i would say we got value for the money. but again. Your staff are excellent, and the location is the same." (97599399)
the staff. they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. this goes for all of them, both at the desk and in the kitchen. location: with the 24 bus just outside the door, that is very good. indeed.
room size, and bed size. (I'm 6'3) there was only one chair with a miniscule desk. Further, although the hotel is a no-smoking facility, our room had a distinct odor of stale tobacco-cigarettes over it

Position was fairly close to where we needed to be for the three days of our stay. Breakfast was OK.
Room overhead had creaky floorboards which were walked on through the entirety of the first night. The 'large and clean' room advertised on the web page was very small for two people, had very dusty pelmets and dead skin cell accumulation on the bedside light. Also the room had been used by smokers and smelt it.

There is no lift so carrying heavy bags to the fourth floor was difficult. The decor is quite old-fashioned.

"The hotel itself seems to be of reasonable standard but I did not appreciate being stuck on the fourth floor in a tiny room when I knew other rooms were available. The staff were helpful and pleasant but wouldn't move me! The room itself was very small and did smell of cigarette smoke. There were also a lot of stains on the walls and it did need sprucing up. In fairness it was clean and the bathroom appeared to be new. Be aware that when you ask for directions they will send you to Victoria station, which is fifteen minutes walk away. It is much better to travel to Pimlico tube station which is two mins away." (3304169705)
Easy to find.
The room smelt of smoke and the decoration could do with sprucing up.

"The hotel was very central and the price was quite reasonable. However the rooms were v v small and basic and our room no. 16 was very dark and dull with hardly any natural light. We were on the third floor and we had to climb alot of stairs which was hard work with bags etc. There was no lift, which made things a bit harder, especially for my 68 yr old mother!" (2904988)
It was very central
The overall state of the rooms - ie paint work etc. We couldnt open the window. Also the halls and stairs really need to be painted also, - which is something very basic and I would expect that this would happen as a matter of course in any guest accommodation.

"There was scaffolding on the hotel so it was quite difficult to find it as the number and name were obscured. The workman did not seem to know what the hotel was called and they were working on it. Staff did not speak very good English so it was hard to understand what they were saying. However I thought it was excellent and Continental Breakfast more than adequate.." (2937422)
Ground floor but quite quiet for London. Good size very clean. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends.
TV did not work on all Channels. Staff asked for my passport on arrival but I am a UK resident so did not think that was necessary. Luckily Ihad it on me.
