"Very pleased with the facilities and would recommend it to those needing a place close to Heathrow." (97078304)
The establishment was close to Heathrow Airport, clean, had a small refrigerator with bottled water available, friendly and helpful staff, all equipment worked properly
A little expensive (maybe I thought so because we weren't able to take advantage of the breakfast, although the proprietor did offer us cereal for morning...we had to get up at 4:00)

"Not bad if you were departing from other terminals. Not a really nice area to spend to much time. The place itself was quite nice. Staff helpfull and breakfast good. " (97405397)
Staff were good. Grounds lovely
Staff did not know where ATM was. We had to go walking and look for ourselves quite a way. Online booking showed close to Heathrow, but we were to/from Terminal 5. A long way and UKP25 cab ride each way . Not happy about that.

"I'd definitely go back and definitely recommend it. " (99682849)
Nicely updated, very pleasant breakfast sunroom; lovely garden area; nice amibience; very comfortable room (good bed, good ventilation, all the expected amenities); very helpful and friendly staff. Easy location to get to via public bus from Heathrow. Really good restaurant (English and Thai) across the street for dinner.
No internet access either at the guest house, or in the vicinity (and I walked a mile in each direction of what is primarily a residential neighborhood).

"it was okay - we were flying out of Heathrow the next day which is why we stayed there. Nothing fabulous, but good enough for our purposes. It was more expensive to stay there than any of the very nice bed and breakfasts we stayed in in Cornwall. The staff, however, was very eager to please and very nice." (97290400)
Very friendly staff, thorough orientation to hotel, very helpful
Room was very small, area was noisy (not their fault - traffic, etc.), water in shower was lukewarm, burned out light bulb and tv remote did not work

"Good value when you consider b/fast is included. BUT if you are coming from H/row you really need to undestand your travel options. The black cab I took from term 3 cost 19 pounds!! The hotel recommended minicab costs 10 pounds to the airport. But the best deal is the bus - which costs only 2 pounds (per person). " (107141780)
Good room, good breakfast. Would recommend the pub on the round-about.
Too many keys to deal with - 1 for the exterior gate, another for the restaurant, another for the communal door to the room and a fouth for the room itself!

Good location just off the motorway, secure car parking and although no resteraunt there is an excellent pub across the road with a Thai/English menu. Breakfast was excellent.

Friendly welcome. Nice clean room. Nice shower and towels. Safe parking. Eating facilities nearby. Accommodating staff: could not wait until breakfast time, was provided with a breakfast tray.
Slightly difficult to find although clear directions were given on website.

"What could have been a really great place to stay was let down by simple things that could be easily rectified. If they resolve those issues, it would be a great place to stay and excellent value for money in such an expensive part of Middlesex." (97636311)
Garden area was lovely - a real oassis and a pleasure to sit out in. Employee who booked us in tried to be very helpful - we grouped with 2 other couples to get a joint taxi to and from Twickenham stadium and he arranged it all for us. Room was adequate. Very easy to find and very close to the M4. Rate was perfectly acceptable for that area of Middlesex. Nice location. Very secure. Good breakfast (but see note below also)
We booked a deluxe room but the curtains came off the rail when I pulled them. The bedside lamp on the left hand side of the bed was broken. No bathrobes or slippers as detailed in the hotels description on line when booking. Description makes no mention of the fact that the B&B is not licensed, so no alcohol available - and the landlord of the pub on the corner could not have been more miserable or unhelpul!!! "Full English breakfast" did not include bacon and the sausages were what we can only believe were vegetarian - which everyone staying there, without fail, left on their plates. We booked a taxi to get to the stadium through the guy that booked us in. The charge went from £20 as agreed at the B&B to £30 on arrival at the venue! We booked him to pick us up at 11.00p.m. and he just did not bother to turn up, so we spent an hour trying to find another local taxi who was available to come and pick us up - and he only charged £20 after midnight. We felt very let down by this, and although the employee said that the taxi was nothing to do with the B&B he should not recommend a firm unless the Cottage feels able to trust them. The other two couples had a completely sleepless night because the cistern in their loos kept trying to fill up throughout the night making a dreadul noise - so if you're booking a deluxe room then you might possibly want to avoid the rooms in blocks 1 & 2 unless this problem has now been sorted??

"For an overnight stay for a visit to Legoland the next day it was very adequate and comfortable." (107164077)
Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Lots of clean towels, plenty of complimentary drinks (tea, water etc). Beds very comfortable.
Even though close to 2 pubs there was nothing else around the area.

"The overall appearance, the welcome late in the evening was good. Seemed like no problem was too big if you asked. Room was warm, clean and comfortable, and the recommendation to eat at the pub across the road was spot on! Price, especially for this area, was acceptable." (97888684)
the room was warm and clean, bed was comfortable and as described the shower was great to wake you up in the morning!
just missing a light in the en suite over the mirror.

Efficient service, nice breakfast (waiter service). Provided help in finding the Hotel and also in arranging a taxi from the Hotel to Twickenham Stadium. Nice building, considering its surroundings. Friendly staff

A clean, well appointed small and ideally located guest house with very friendly and efficient staff. The check in process was excellent, one was made to feel welcome and the facilities are good for this price range.
The mattress was a bit hard and it would be helpful to have a larger desk in the room

"Breakfast was limited in choice. The room was cheaply furnished and was not a place where one could relax and enjoy staying there. The price was too high for a B&B - I would stay at a hotel in future; The taxi that the front desk ordered for me was driven by a person with limited English and poor knowledge of the area." (97933074)
The shower in the bathroom
The bed was uncomfortable. Although spacious and reasonably clean, the room did not feel hospitable.

"I found the guesthouse to be expensive for what it was, ie an old-fashioned little room with blankets rather than a duvet, and a basic shower. Next time I will pay the £20 extra for a proper hotel room." (97624116)
It was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good and the service was helpful.
The shower being advertised as The Best Power Shower in Heathrow was overstating the case massively.

"If it weren't for the lingering smell of air freshener (i.e. cigarette smell masking odour), it would be excellent - friendly and helpful staff, very nice room, no traffic noise, secure parking. I would otherwise not hesitate to come back." (97158859)
Rooms extremely clean and well equipped, friendly staff (recent take-over by a new company), quiet considering its location
Room smelled of that sickly air freshener used in taxis to get rid of years of abuse at the hands of smokers. Next day I could smell it on my clothes.

Very pleasant convenient accommodation, with the Queens Pub just over the road which was also very pleasant, with good menu and an assortment of interesting characters. The beer was good too.
Could do with better quality soap and shampoo. This seriously needs upgrading. The sausages at breakfast need to be incinerated, likewise the hash browns. Otherwise very acceptible.

The hotel was clean, both the room and the bathroom. The location was perfect to me. The hotel was calm, far from the usual urban noise. I also had a sense of privacy.

Our hosts were very nice and accomodating. They brought breakfast to our room when my friend was sick, changed towels and beds every day, and gave us suggestions for places to visit and shops. The Cottage is beautiful, the rooms are big and in excellent condition.
The cottage is a bit away from transportation. In order to get into the city, we needed to take a bus to get to the tube. Overall, with waiting and traveling, the trip to the city would take us an hour and half each way.

"Liked the security, very friendly service during check-in, didn't stay long enough to sample the breakfast, had a tray in our room, but even then didn't have time to use it. Would certainly use this hotel again. Hope to go back again when we are stopping over in London." (108030834)
