    Ease of access from Shannon Airport - landed late so just wanted a place to slepp before heading onwards the following morning.

    Smell of smoke in the hotel - our non-smoking room was fine but as soon as you stepped into the hallway it stank.

    "Overall I was extremely pleased with this hotel. As I arrived late it was good to have a coffee/tea in the room. I did as for a sandwich as I hadn´t eaten for 24 hrs and was told they would see but didn´t hear from them. But it was late." (97160196)

    Very clean and friendly staff

    The heating had not been turned on and I didn´t know how to turn it on so was cold. But there was a good heater in the room.

    Simple, clean and no fuss. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. Couldn't have asked for more!

    "Has that American like style. We were a bit confused as to where the main reception was when we arrived. There did not seem to be a main entrance in to the hotel. Vending machines were not working for bottled water and such. Bathroom was not clean. The grouting in the tile around the tub had a lot of mildew. Other wise for an overnight stay before a flight the location was very handy." (99157235)

    "HAD NO PROBLEM WITH HOTEL ONLY THAT THE ROOM WAS FREEZING WHEN WE GOT THERE ON A VERY COLD NIGHT!!" (99621573)

    CLEAN AND SPACIOUS

    VERY COLD, THE HEATING WAS OFF AND WE ARRIVED LATE SO IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THE ROOM TO HEAT UP. IT WAS A FREEZING COLD NIGHT.

    "Good but the food could be improved - the menu at the bar could be better even if it remains basic. The chinese restayurant is good although expensive. The band should play some irish music at the weekend for visitors. You should also mentioned about the few facilities around and that people need to hire a car when / if they stay at your hotel!"     "It was a bit of a let-down. The no room service was a big surprise and not a good one! Nothing to do at the hotel--no gym, pool, recreation--only a bar and a Chinese restaurant. Would have also liked a jacuzzi-type tub. Also, not even a biscuit accompanied the tea/coffee maker!" (99964325)

    "We had been there before through Tourist Information. We found the place suitable for us and ordered this time through e-mail. That was very convenient." (99200885)

    Easy, very suitable before or after a flight. Convenient to our purposes.

    Evening meal - perhaps because of the problems of the language (?) we didn't understand how to be able to eat in the pub without going to the chinese restaurant. We'll like to have had the meal there with the music.

    "Fantastic stay, all in our party enjoyed themselves. Full marks to the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Good atmoshere in the bar, although it can be noisy late into the night. Best to ask for a room away from the bar if you are bothered by noise, or better still join in!" (99822099)

    "The female staff member (name unknown) who was on duty when our group of eleven walked in about 10:00 AM was simply marvelous! She was pleasant, friendly and extremely efficient, getting all of us checked in so that we could store our things, relax a bit after a long flight into Shannon from the U.S., and kindly answered any and all questions. We were only there for one night, checking out by 0800 the next morning. Her efficiency and kindness helped each one of us feel comfortable and rested before the start of our five-day tour. Thanks!"     It was a perfectly clean, functional hotel room needed for one night close to the Shannon Airport.

    The pub grub was adequate but certainly not great.

    Busy, lively bar at closing time. VERY noisy at 1:30am, then noisy at 6:30am with workmen sounding horns.

    "El hotel está muy bien relación calidad precio; las habitaciones son amplias y curiosas, silenciosidad del hotel buena, la localización no tan buena, hay que moverse en coche, aunque el hotel cuenta con un pub y un restaurante, se encuentra a 5 minutos, en coche, del aeropuerto (los taxis de la oficina del aeropuerto son más caros, los que te localiza el hotel están mejor).
