Stayed in one of the new bedroom. Very smart design of room with large LCD tv and plenty of space. Workdesk with internet access and plug socket on desktop...nice touch! Bed very comfortable and room facilities excellent.
no problems with the facilities, but staff distant in approach and delivery of service. One night there was only one chef on duty and that meant there was no more meals available in the bar restaurant after 7.45!

"As a business person, it would have been nice to have an alternative menu for basic food rather than only the same menu without variations for a stay of several days. The food was good, but sometimes pie and mash or a roast meal, is all that is required for extended stay business guests." (99672683)
Clean, modern, and good quality of decor and equipment
The building work meant that the route to the bedroom was rather lon g and complex. I am sure this will be improved when complete.

"This hotel was having a refurb, although this presented no problems excellent rooms and staff, meals were also excellent, the rooms were ultra clean, having stayed the previous weekend at the Edinburgh Sheraton 5 star, the Westerwood provided more attention to detail and rooms were one of the cleanest I have stayed in" (99547704)
the clean room was super much cleaner than our last weeks hotel stay at the Edinburgh Sheraton 5 star

"this is a lovely friendly hotel. excellent accommodation, spacious and clean. friendly staff." (99604996)
the room was very clean and comfortable. room service was efficient
the view was not great - although there are major building works going on, the room service menu was limited as well.

"This is the most pleasant hotel with impressive high standards throughout from the moment you arrived till you left that I have stayed in in the uk and I have stayed in a number of five star hotels in countries such as Egypt and this hotel gave a good account for itself against them. This break was to attend a family function and I also had my parents as guests staying in the room next to ours and they found the whole experience one to remember for all the right reasons. The facilities if you stay long enough to use them are excellent and the help and advise provided by the staff very informative and nothing was too much trouble. We managed to fit in using the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jaccuzzi etc but if I stayed longer I would liked to have made use of the gym facilities which was also impressive and a round of golf would have topped it off, but that will have to be next time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. The time spent in the hotel was a pleasure." (97824978)
The accomodation was of a high standard, well maintained/cleaned etc... with most of the things you would require being to hand.
If I had to find a fault it would be that the room could have done with a small fridge as my wife has to use alternatives to dairy milk and found this to be a bit difficult although she was offered an ice bucket.

Spacious and comfortable room. Nice bathroom, good shower. Satellite TV.
Internet access was so expensive. Underfloor heating in bathroom was selective. Some tiles were warm, some were cold.

"One of the best hotels I have stayed in, in the last 12 months. New rooms very spacious, clean well appointed. Hard working and polite staff, decent on site facillities and good quality well presented food." (97101858)
Spacious and comfortable
A bit more variety on the menus would have been nice.

"I found all the relevant information I needed on the web site." (3305458925)
Friendly & helpful staff, the rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable.
Because of building work to improve the hotel there was no access to the swimming pool, spa and gym from within the hotel and the route to the leisure facilities was by a door off the hotel rooms corrider. This caused the corrider to be very cold in the evening when going to dinner.

It was well signposted, and the bar was lovely. And the complimentary bottles of water were a nice touch.
The room smelt funny. The shower didn't work properly. The TV didn't work properly. The car park at the front of the hotel was used by work men, so I had to park round the back and walk all the way round with my luggage, it was just a bit of a hassel when I had been travelling for 9 hours and all I wanted was my bed!

"you have an excellent hotel,in the main you have good staff but for a hotel of your quality our evening meal was not.because we go to different hotels we like to think we are not bad at spotting certain items we think is wrong.some of your staff need to be in the cleaning of tables better trained.my wife and i will have no hesitation in booking into your excellent hotel again.we both wish you all the best in your future developement." "Much better than we'd expected considering it was a late internet booking and most accommodation in the Central Valley was taken with Ed Festival visitors. Dinner was good although service was a little slow. Spacious dining room with plenty of distance between tables so no privacy problems. We'd consider staying again if visiting the area." (3305240689)
Bathroom facilities excellent. Outlook over golf course relaxing. Nice & quiet
Access to Reception from golf course end tedious A lift at the start would have been helpful for our elderly guest. I realise that this is a temporary problem 'til extension is completed.

"Overview - approximately 12 miles outside Glasgow. Having seen the location of the major hotels, we were glad we stayed here - it suited our needs and expectations. This caters well for our age group - over 45's. Next time we will take leisure clothes to take advantage of the leisure facilities. Value for money - oh yes!! Free evening meal on first night - top quality. We will definately use this hotel again. Many thanks to Maria." (3305263759)
Very friendly and helpful staff indeed. Wonderful rooms allocated at our request (225 & 227). The room was more than adequate with excellent bathroom facilities and separate shower. Food was outstanding to such an extent we ate there the following night. Entry to this effect also to be put on www.tripadvisor.com.
Nothing really. In need of slight decor upgrade, but after a relaxing day, a good meal and a comfortable seat in front of the fire - what can one complain about.

"Modern hotel with big comfortable rooms. The hotel is somewhat sprawling and lacking in atmosphere. The hotel is not within walking distance of any amenities so unless he is willing to drive the guest has to use the hotel restaurant and bar. I felt the restaurant though well appointed was only adequately managed and the food was average. However, for the price paid, overall the hotel was good." (3305189158)
Big comfortable room with good facilities
Reception poorly signposted and a long way from the car park

the only thing that i dislkied was that due to the fact the hotel was having an extension built i felt i had to walk miles to get to reception as you couldn`t park outside the main entrance

"The hotel is ideally suited for Central Scotland, especially if you enjoy golf. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was of a good size and clean. The bathroom had a separate bath/shower, this meant the room was small. There was no space to hang the towels. Although not used by us, the Golf course, swimming pool and gym looked good." (3304869740)
Good location for Central Scotland
Minor point, the shower head is fixed

Lovely rooms; very comfortable beds; traditional decor with a contemporary edge; excellent bathing facilities.
not disappointed by any aspects of the hotel

"Have used this hotel over the past ten years and it keeps on getting better - Q Hotels are heavily investing in facilities and it will be a class leading conference and leisure facility. Staff are very considerate e.g. fire alarm activited during the night and staff were providing blankets to keep people warm during the 15 minutes we were out of our rooms and providing warm drinks after the event for people who required." (97315463)
Brand new annex so rooms never used previously. Excellent quality of fittings
To be really nit picky the exterior had not been landscaped as yet as was still full of building materials
