"I would stay there again but would be sure not to eat in the restaurant!!" (97027150)
Hotel has extremely pleasant surroundings and friendly staff.
The evening meal was terrible. Not only was the food tough and tasteless - portions were miniscule - I was starving hungry even after 3 courses (I only weigh 55kg) but was unable to sleep through hunger despite paying a lot of money for the meal.

The bed was fabulous. Great bathroom too. Ticked both my most important boxes.
Too comfortable - it was a struggle to leave in the morning!

The hotel has a very personal feel that is more often than not lacking in larger hotel chains. That said, the decor of the rooms in particular is beautiful. I stayed in the Primrose Suite and the attention to detail was fantastic - it was neither bland nor chinz! The service of the hotel staff was also superior, my partner had arranged a gift in my room for my arrival and they carried out the instruction with both discretion and efficiency. I will definitely be rebooking when I am in the area next.

"Rowhill and its staff is an experience worthwile for a weary bussiness traveler. Making you feel special. Particular like the early morning call service where you find a real person on the other line. The hotel is notsuitable for people who have difficulties with hills or steps, no ramp available and luggage has to be carried through the door." (99697223)
Peacefull surroundings. Rooms very comfortable. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Having already paid an additional service charge on meals, the bill still shows a line for tips.

"The best hotel in the area by far." (99008480)
The hotel has been refurbished and looks great. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is good.
The mews part of the hotel needs refurbishing. Breakfast needs more healthy options - not a lot of fresh fruit.

"As I have stayed at this hotel in the past I felt that my current visit was not the same - the staff were not as friendly or attentive at check in. The general atmosphere was not warm and welcoming as it had been on previous stays. The restaurant was cold whilst sitting there for breakfast and the breakfast portions were not consistant. As I had taken my part disabled mother with me we used the spa facilities - there was no hand rail on the jacuzzi and she had immense difficulty in getting out. I would like to stay again but would find it difficult to recommend as it has changed - yet the prices have risen!" (99783631)

excellent accommodation, professionalism of staff who carry out their working in a friendly, helpful way.vey good facilities in hotel
Small niggle, like a lot of hotels with a pool and gym, non residents blocremesk all the parking spaces nearest to reception leaving residents to the outer extremes with their luggage arriving and departing. If there is no porter available there should be conveniently located residents only parking

The friendly polite staff
cold jacuzzi cold hydrotheraphy pool, no slippers in the room, nosiy room next to service area even though I requested a quiet room so avoid POPPY, and flat awful pillows and no vegetarian breakfast despite having 2 rossettes. Unattentive reception staff, very slow to respond to people waiting to check in and out at the desk not a good first and lasting immpression.

"We weren't shown around the hotel which would have been nice as we had to do this ourselves, as did many other guests and we looked a bit lost while doing this! Also, I wasn't entirely comfortable with people walking about in bathrobes whilst business meetings were taking place in the coffee lounge area and brasserie." (99798716)
The bed was OUTRAGEOUSLY COMFORTABLE !!!! The hotel & service was Superb all round. This was a treat for my sister visiting from Bermuda and it surpassed our expectations - we were thrilled.
Accommodation was fabulous as was the hotel. The Spa changing rooms however were very claustrophobic and the decor made me think it was grubby.

"It would have been good to have been advised of the works going on before we arrived - we were offered no explanation or reduction in room price. However - I am sure that in the summer when hopefully all work would be completed that this hotel would be lovely to stay at.The room was quite small but clean. The decor in the room was old and a bit frayed looking but okay. The hotel itself was lovely - the food and setting beautiful and peaceful." (99411250)
Beautiful setting, very peaceful, excellent attentive staff and good food.
Unfortunately we were not aware until we got there that major works appear to be going on and we had scaffolding outside both of our windows! Builders appeared on the scaffolding early in the morning talking and generally going about their work - this was annoying a) because they were noisy and b) because you couldn't draw the cutains as they could see right into the room?!

"This is a first rate hotel comparably providing excellant value, especially considering its proximity to London." (99976511)
Perfection was marred in the Hyacinth suite by the unbelievable need to crawl on all fours to plug in the kettle under the desk to connect to the only free plug point in the room and provisions on the hospitality tray were sparse and lacked the universally supplied packet of biscuits or cake.

"The hospitality was fantastic, and the warm genuine welcome was greatly appreciated, I was made to feel at home! The Spa is great if you get chance to use it. Food in the Brasserie ideal for a substantial meal or just a snack. I will definitely be returning when next working in London. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A real jewel in the crown to find a hotel so good near the M25 and central London was only 30 mins away." (99507653)
Well appointed Room, all needs were met and ideal for a business traveller. Excellent menu choice for frequent hotel guest.

The Hotel is of a very luxurious standard, the Spa was outstanding, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable use of the pool and jacuzzi. There was a wide-range of treatments available, which unfortunately, I didn't have time to try. The restaurant offers a full A La Carte Menu, which has plenty of options. I had an excellent meal and definitely recommend the Hotel for special occasions & romantic nights away at the week-end.

"i would stay again as the general feel and standard were very good, although i think the staff could be a little more friendly . we waited for nearly two hours for our room to be ready which was a bit annoying as we had telephoned to say we would be checking in early as we were attending a wedding there, and were assured that was fine. other than that though the place itself was beautiful and the spa was very luxurious." (3304802200)
the surrounding's were very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful.
the only thing that i found off putting was that the bed was very lumpy feeling and uncomfortable.also the staff were'nt quite as friendly as they could have been.

"Overly impressed wih the the hotel in general and it's spa facilities. The bar staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Although there was a wedding on during our stay we never heard any noise from the reception during the night and almost over slept! Our evening meal in the Brasserie was very nice and not over priced. We had a very nice breakfast which set us up for the day and it only took us 10 mins to get to Bluewater shopping centre. We will stay here again and would look to stay two nights to get the full benefit of the facilities." (3304934792)
Friendly, professional staff who were very attentive to our needs. Lovely surroundings. Not your usual hotel room, this one felt very relaxing and well laid out.

"My main reason for staying at Rowhill Grange was to use the Utopia spa, which is out of this world..Definately a recommended treat! I have no real complaints about this as a hotel, it was very nice but i was lucky and got a good deal. The full price for a deluxe room is £230.00, i dont feel that the rooms justify this amount. I have stayed in alot of big name hotels for work for around half the price and as lovely as rowhill grange was i just cant see the justification for that price. However if you can get a deal on the price i would definately reccomend it, if only for the fantastic spa and food!" (99289622)
Staff were very polite and friendly, rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Food was definately worthy of their 2 rosettes they were awarded.
No main lights in the bedrooms only lamps, which made it very difficult to read. Pillows too soft for me, gave me terrible neck ache. Advertised king size twin beds but there was only 2 singles.
