"The hotel was excellent value for money. Warm, excellent rooms. great location. good secure parking." (97307734)

Good location, parking etc. rooms good. Value for money.

The breakfast was a shambles. Had to ask for juice, tea, knives, almost everything. terrible organisation.

"Overall the accomodation was adequate, the room was OK and quiet, but the supporting amenities, i.e. breakfast, heating etc weren't so good. I probably won't stay here again." (97829684)

    Secure parking and spacious room

Heating was only on during the day, which meant the room was cold when getting up. Breakfast selection was poor and very basic. There wasn't even toast on offer!

"Good - I would stay again if I needed to be at our Office in Wylde Green again overnight" (107280107)

Close to where I was working for two days - close to bus stop Excellent buffet breakfast included in the price and other meals were available if required (ate out with a work colleague)

Poor signage to parking at rear - no lift and room on second floor Curtains did not meet so daylight in room in morning

"Entrance at rear was all that was displayed at the hotel, with no explanation of how to find the access point." (99505736)

The quietness in the rear room that I was allocated

Only that there was no prior warning of the vehicular rear entrance and how to get to it.

"Our room was at the front overlooking a busy road. The window was broken therefore not soundproof; hence traffic noise all night! The En-suit was very very small with towels haging right next to the toilet seat. The Dinning Room was a tiny coservatory which would be packed with 10 people and the breakfast was presented on a small plstic shef unit.I was not offered a pot of coffee just 1 small cup. The general feel was unprofessional and lacked customer care." (99404798)

    The staff were polite

For the price I would expect a lot more

"Happy with stay as only a two minute drive from the course I was attending, but room was cold, pillows hard and bathroom cramped, although shower was excellent. Also if you are looking for somewhere to eat in the area good luck to you." (99820946)

    Excellent hot power shower

Room at the top was very cold with radiators not anywhere near full blast

"Wouldn't rush back, we were only in town for a football match. The carpark was a nightmare as it was at the back of the hotel and the signs directing us to it were very small. There was no intercom at the gates and sounding the horn and flashing lights did not seem to attract any attention so we had to call on two occasions to get let in. The hotel was freezing but the receptionist/only staff member did provide us with an eletric heater then changed this as he didn't want us to have a noisy heater. Breakfast was a mystery as some bread seemed to be the only option although we did get a cup of coffee each." (99335959)

They seemed to have tried hard with the decor of the hotel

There was a funny smell throughout the hotel, the heating didn't work and the carpark was almost impossible to get into due to having no intercom
