"The Hillview Lodge is an excellent choice of accommodation and both my wife and myself enjoyed our stay in what is a very friendly family run business. The room was without fault as was the service provided by Alice and Dermott. The only downside was not being able to stay longer. I would highly recommend the Hillview Lodge to any person and hope to stay there again in the future." (99708314)
The Hillview Lodge was easy to get to and provided lovely views over the County Armagh Countyrside. It is also close to all the ammenities provided by Armagh City Centre. The room was well above the standard found in other guest houses and easily equalled that of many quality hotels. It was clean well laid out and roomy with TV/DVD,fridge,hairdryer, tea/coffe making facilities, phone and good sized en suite bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was without fault and very enjoyable.

"Excellent stay, Excellent proprietors, Excellent friendly hotel." (97929080)
My wife and i had a very fine stay and there are no individual points the whole stay was good.
Not any real bad points The only thing we found akward (until we made our own arrangements)was the lack of a facility for evening meals on the premises. Every effort was made by the propietor to allow you to organise either eating out or eating in if you preffered

"Fantastic - I wish I wasn't a 23 hour flight away. I would love to stay there again. " (97338182)
Manager extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Went out of her way to help us. A very warm place to stay, so many other hotels I stayed in had turned their heating off for Summer but there was a cold snap whilst I was there.

"We had a very good experience and were warmly welcomed by our hosts. We were surprised to find an evening snack meal available on site and enjoyed a home made pizza before we headed out for the evening. The owner was kind enough to drive us into the city saving a taxi fare one way.A lovely homely place and we would definitely go back again." (97128413)
Friendliness of staff, hospitality, standard of service.
