"would not go back. couldnt wait to get home. terribly rough area, very unsafe. still got the concussion to prove it. i would advice anyone going to book in this area not to go. its very rough and unsafe. the room itself was small but adequate for one nights stay. although there was rats poison in the room and also in the cupboard which made us feel immediatly uneasy. the bathroom was tiny, just about enough room to move. and the water was freezing. the breakfast was very poor, we didnt have breakfast just wanted to get out of the b&b asap. it was such a relief to get home. on the plus side the staff were friendly and helpfull but that is the only good point about this place. would NEVER send my worst enemy to peckham." (97336822)
helpfull staff
Very poor breakfast consisting of toast or cereal. rat poison in room and cupboard. no hot water in shower. very very very rough area, got assaulted unprovoked by a local in the hotel bar, ended up in a&e. awful area, would never ever go back again, felt so unsafe.

No tube stop near by, had to take South West train service which stops before midnight, and room was very hot (no in room heat controls) even with window wide open.

"Neighbourhood is not great." (97456748)
Place is clean, reasonable for stays of longer duration. Is a typical English pub. Proximity to railway station
Rooms were extremely small - there's a bed, a cupboard, a TV and a tiny bathroom. No phone, table, cable TV. Wireless works only as long as the pub downstairs is open.

"An excellent vfm establishment considering its close proximity to central London" (107184656)
Best feature is the helpfulness of the new proprietors who are clearly striving to provide a good vfm experience. They are still learning but will undoubtedly achieve their goals.
The standard of the self-service breakfast facility requires some improvement

"i would recommend this hotel if you don't have much cash, it's great if you're a sports fan and without the tacky lads you can watch on the big screen any sport. i was there for the hatton fight and the pub stayed open and invited the residents. the locals were lovely despite the rumours peckham has. It is situated in peckham rye not actual peckham" (97085276)
the staff were great, hotel was great value for money
it was very basic but still really good value and clean

The shower would run cold rather quickly and it was very cold in the bathroom but othere than that it was very good.
