I asked for non smoking room and was given a smoking room. Thought the location of the kettle was dangerous. It had to be moved to be plugged in which meant there was a risk of spilling boiling water.

"My stay wasn't a good one, as the room was smoking one and I had specifically asked for a non-smoking one. £185 was a lot to pay when you can get a similar rates a much nicer hotel nearby. The room was nice and clean but the carpet was worn and the towels were grey. I was very disappointed and will not be sending anyone there to stay via my company in the future." (97959026)
Easy to book
It was not value for money ans the room was a smoking one when I had confirmed a non-smoking room

The accomodation was local to my party
The service was a disgrace, disorganised and all in all a bad experience

"I thought the bedroom ensuite design to be excellent, especially the toilet cubicle door doubling up as the entrance door. One point however I felt was an accident waiting to happen is that the shower soap dispenser discharges surplus soap on to the shower tray making this dangerously slippery. Yes there is a grab handle but there should be a notice placed to warn showerers to use this always when stepping out of the shower, because the shower receiver is set unusually high above the floor level." "We stayed two consecutive weekends and had issues on both weekends. The first reservation was booked online but the hotel had incorrect details and it took about an hour longer to check in. We had to argue with the hotel and get the booking service to call in order to get our originally booked rate. The hotel had no record of our second booking and we had to contact the online booking agency again to remind the hotel to check their emails (the problem both weekends was staff not following office procedures). The lock on our door malfunctioned and we were locked out of room until after 1am. We had an early morning flight the next morning so the situation was very frustrating. Staff were not very helpful and the promised discount for our inconvenience never materialised." (97600764)
Conveniently located.
Disorganised, unattentive and inexperienced staff.
