"A very enjoyable stay overall" (107174484)

Excellent breakfast and the hotel staff were very nice. The hotel was also very clean. I stayed there after I was at a wedding and the service at the wedding meal was excellent, the food was delicious too.

I wasn't told before I went to my room that you had to pay a deposit on the mini bar, so we weren't able to use it. I thought it was broken!

"Very impressed with the Hilton. I unfortunately left my bag behind me and when I rang the next morning, Housekeeping had found it and kept it for me. My husband collected it that afternoon with no hassle at all. Very honest staff! " (97681544)

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and table service was very quick. Selection of food was very good. The chef on hand to cook your eggs whichever way you wanted was a big plus! Overall the Hotel was friendly and very clean.

The only downside was that you had to pay for car parking. This is the first Hotel that we have stayed at in which we had to pay extra for car parking.

"Enjoyed, would time stay again" (99589293)

Breakfast excellent - staff really friendly. Managed to check in at 10.30am.

Our kettle had been used as a tea-pot and had tea bags left in it..therefore we did not use the tea making facilities. Car parking expensive if not leaving the car for over 12 hours you are charged at hourly rate - 3 days cost £50!

    "Very good." (107228401)

Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful.Nice view from the room.

When we got our bill under the door we were charged ?274 instead of ?218. It was a nuisance to have to go to reception and query this. It was an even greater nuisance when the person we spoke to couldn't do anything, unless we could produce our email confirmation, which was barely possible, since our internet reception in the room was very poor. I suggested emailing it to front desk, as we were unable to print it and bing it down. This we did, and when we went to check out, our email appeared to have sufficed to correct the error, but the young man with whom i spoke was quite dismissive and arrogant and did not apologise for the error or our inconvenience or even acknowledge the error. This was disappointing, and why was there a difference in the rates?... but it was the only fault we had with our stay. Also, we felt that it was tricky to actually find the hotel - a signpost even at the last turn-off into where the hotel was, would help a lot...

    "Very Good" (108067949)

Hotel location excellent for walking into Belfast City Centre for shopping and night life

Car Parking charges at £14 per night in my opinion as a guest staying in this hotel is very expensive, car parking charges for hotel guests should be free or a much reduced rate for overnight car parking charges for guests staying at this hotel

"Large, quiet room. Enjoyed the stay. A short walk to downtown." (97131380)

    Staff, especially at check-in

£17.95 for a cooked breakfast, £8.50 for a large glass of wine!

"Good location, pleasant hotel let down in some cases by the staff." (97383221)

Room was of a good standard and clean. Location of the hotel was good, near the City centre with views over the river and Waterfront Hall.

Hotel is classified 5 star but difficult to see how this has been awarded. Our room was still being cleaned when we returned at 5.00pm on a Saturday. Some of the staff on duty in the breakfast room were decidedly surly.

"In spite of its brevity, my wife and I were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay." (97079663)

Spacious dining area, ample space in room, helpful reception staff

Adjacent car park very expensive (£14 after discount). Water slow to drain from sink. I suspected a blockage somewhere.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Room was very good with a great view of the river. Breakfast was excellent - great choice of food with healthy options avaliable. Staff were very firendly.

Drinks in the hotel were more expensive than other hotels/bars in Belfast.

"From the moment we stepped in to the Hilton Belfast we were greeted with such warmth from the staff, it was an excellent start to our stay. We were there for the Osmond concert nearby and the receptionist showed a sincere interest in our activities (which we were more than happy to talk about :). Staff were also very helpful informing us of the area etc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as always and the perfect setting overlooking the river for us to chill out after all the excitement of the previous evening. One thing to warn people about I suppose is the glass entrance/exit. Not realising it was glass one of our party walked smack into it. As soon as we found that she was not seriously hurt we allowed ourself to release the giggles we had been hanging on to but and then when we returned from the concert we found that she had left such a face mark on the glass that when we took a photo of it you could see not only the colour of her lipstick but also a very clear spread of squished nose!!! It looked like some sort of mystical shroud!!! I have never laughed so hard in my life and really wish there was a facility here to post the photo!!! I always enjoy the Hilton Belfast but this time one of my mates left a lasting impression :D" (97576453)

Great hotel, good location with good quality of service in all areas

Minor point - I had no visibility of the highly differing daily rates and as this was a pleasure & business trip had I known the rates I may have chosen a different hotel.

"Hotel is in a great location / staff are great and decor is funky While the room had recently been refurbished, there were a number of things which had not been checked - there was obviously a leak of some sort - the carpet was wet, the phones didn't work and there was even a light fitting which had an exposed live wire. All in this reflects very badly as it suggests the hotel cannot meet the high standards it has set for itself" (97357237)

    Proximity to Odyssey -

Sunday breakfast a bit disorganised. As advised went to dining room between 9 -10am before real crowd but juice in waiting area ran out - but wait wasn't too long and staff apologised for delay. Waiting staff need to be a little more attentive to providing the tea/coffee for breakfast - felt a little invisible!

other than having to pay for car parking i cannot really say anything bad.

The friendliness of all the staff from the porter to the receptionist. They were very efficient and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect only a stones throw from central station.

TV remote was missing waited 45 minutes to get one that worked. room was next to a fire exit, door banged all night.

"I'm not sure if I would pay the full rate for a room here, but, on the reduced rate I was on it represented excellent value. The hotel's position on the waterfront is superb and it's virtually in the city centre. My only real complaint is that they didn't seem to check the breakfast crockery was actually clean beofre putting it out. Both mornings I had to sort through the pile of plates to actually find one that was clean enough to eat off." (97084035)

Great position, helpful staff, good breakfast

Cleanliness of crockery at breakfast - very difficult to find a plate that was actually clean.

Polite and friendly staff. The hotel and room was clean and presented well but I wouldnÂ’t rate this as a five star hotel.

When entering the car park, there was no indication of which level the entrance to the hotel was. The car parking charges are quite high even with the hotel discounted rates.
