"This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in this year. If you like to get around cheap like I do, I recommend buying the least expensive "rambler" pass for your needs (details here: http://www.dublinbus.ie/fares_and_tickets/daily.asp) which will give you unrestricted access to all Dublin buses for less than the price of most single fare trips on the same exact buses. You can take bus #748 from the airport to downtown Dublin and then walk a short distance to Aston Quay, then take bus #79a to the hotel." (97370141)
WOW. Room was immaculate. I had the distinct sense that we were the first to stay in that particular room. The only evidence to the contrary was a minor buildup on the bottom portion of the shower door. I say this not to point out a flaw, but to point out that the room was in absolutely perfect condition despite the fact that it had been used. Lots of cool amenities that other hotels lack -- Heated towel rack, Groehe bathroom fixtures with gleaming chrome, glass shower door, great water pressure, spacious, free wifi, innovative lighting fixtures, card door access, amazingly comfortable bed with great pillows.
Just a minor one -- the location is a bit out of the way if you plan on getting around via the public transit system. It's about a 30-45 minute bus ride to central Dublin. As of June 2008 there isn't a bus that runs along the M50, which is a major road that runs directly from the airport to the hotel.

Very friendly staff, especially at bar/restaurant and a gentleman we assume was a duty manager always about ensuring everthing ok and having little friendly chats. Just the right amount of interest. Not too pushy.
Hotel itself is out of way for actual visit to Dublin itself, i suspect it is geared up more for business travellers or peopl who want to be out of way. We thought the Menu was very poor at first glance, due to not lot of choice, however we did end up eating a few bits. All the food was very good, we were very pleased with it.

"Hotel was quite a distance from the town centre and airport and I did not find the directions on the website particularly helpful as I was using public transport. My room looked onto a wasteland. I felt that the room was overpriced." (99914548)
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Reception were very helpful.

"I would definitely recommend the hotel." (107236154)
Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower!
Only white bread at breakfast. Bigger sign on the main road would be good, I was finding my way in the dark.
