Quiet location in a residential area; all staff friendly and helpful; good swimming pool; railway station nearby (10 mins to Nice or Monaco)
Limited parking available, but I had requested a parking space when booking which had been noted.

"The hotel is located in a quiet area but yet within walking distance of many restaurants. The directions are very good on the website and it is easy to follow the casino and hotel signs on arrival in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The staff were very friendly and greeted us always with a smile! The website seems to have a standard response to special requests which left me a little anxious until I arrived. The swimming pool is a little oasis - birds singing and scented plants abound - of course the beautiful weather helped. I would love to have spent a few days there - honestly!" (97389747)
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and informative. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked.
The room was small but I understood this fact when I booked the special offer. The only thing lacking was a restaurant in the hotel for evening dinner.

"j'ai un avis tout à fait favorable à tout niveau, réservation, accueil sur place, gentillesse du personnel. Seule la vue sur la mer que l'on nous annonce même au troisième étage et de face n'est pas panoramique, mais la plage étant à proximité, cela reste relatif." (97681457)
accueil chaleureux, personnel extrèmement sympathique
concernant la chambre : volet roulant bruyant - tête de lit en tissu tachée de grosses auréoles - fils de téléphone nus au niveau de la prise donc dangereux - système de branchement du réfrigérateur beaucoup trop visibles.

"This was our 6th summer vacation in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and our 2nd stay at the Carlton Hotel. This stay was really great. The performance of the staff was excellent. We stayed in a very nice room on the 2nd floor with view to the pool and to the garden. The room was rather large. The bathroom was in a good shape and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We had breakfast on the terrace in the garden. The location of the hotel is particularly attractive, in a relatively quiet residential environment, not far from the beach.
