"Friendly and accommodating staff excellent dinner and an outstanding breakfast choice. Marginally overpriced by comparison with similar establishments further from the channel ports but that is perhaps to be expected in a commercial world." (107230953)
A very comfortable and well appointed suite in an annex adjacent to the charming old hotel.
A very charactreful but cramped bar

"We were glad to have read other reviews. This prevented us from paying from the parking. you can be blocked in by other cars. It is cramped and it is much easier to park in town, at least in October! It may be more difficult in high season. The hotel aim to meet the needs of those with special dietary needs and the chef seems to have some expertise in this. As such a person eating out is often problematic but not here! I was very pleased to find such considerate people!" (97024260)
We were delighted with the quality of the accommodation and the evening meal we had on one evening. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were courteous and attentive. Although it is in the town centre we found the room quiet and restful. We will go back!

An excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent particularly the breakfast. It was good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We would certainly stay there again.

"This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The customer service is of a very high standard. All the staff were helpfull and considerate. I can recommend the food at this hotel, well cooked, well presented and on time. The rooms are away from the main part of the hotel and are very quiet. On a warm evening it is nice to sit in the candle lit court yard and enjoy a glass of the local wine under the hazel nut tree...." (97047279)
The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The room was large with double bed, tables and chairs and a comfortable sofa. TV and coffee making and a mini bar.

"The hotel was central for all the town amenities. The food at breakfast and dinner was of the highest standard. Service by all members of the staff team was friendly and efficient, making our stay a real pleasure. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly which is the style we prefer when staying at a hotel. We did not feel inclined to eat anywhere else during our stay which I think says much about the quality of service and the welcome." (97414242)
The room was comfortable, warm, nicely furnished and decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The ensuite facilities were excellent and the bed large and comfortable. We could find no fault with it at all. Excellent.

The welcome was very friendly, the room was spotless, the service was first class, the food was superb and the location was ideal.
The car park for 7 cars is a little tight but this is a tiny niggle.

"As written above. The hotel is ideal for a short stay/visit." (97866080)
Very friendly and hospitable. We felt welcome and very much at home. The rooms and facilities were spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the central location. The hotel is comfortable but not lavish. We would definitely return should the opportunity arise.
Nothing to dislike but first impressions on arrival at the small reception area did not reflect the overall standard.

Big rooms and nice bathroom.
My mother's room smelt of cigarettes despite being a no-smoking room. The restaurant was not very good.

"The hotel was immaculate in every respect, while retaining the typically French old style hotel appearance. Every detail had been carefully thought out, bathrobes embroidered with hotel motif, pillows and towels too, immaculate decor, every comfort, attractive pictures, Villeroy and Bosch crockery, a wonderfully laid out breakfast, a picturesque courtyard with flowers and plants everywhere, a patron who was clearly proud of his hotel, and who wanted to welcome his guests in person, and to talk to them in the morning, and give advice on where to go. Our only regret is that we did not have our evening meal at the hotel, as it looked very atmospheric, and the quality of cooking high class." (99819092)

"Considering we arrived late in the afternoon, we were made very welcome and although the restaurant was fully booked, they fitted us in for dinner. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great as well. Our room was in the new part of the hotel and was large and immaculately clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast too was superb - plenty of choice. Will return soon to sit in the beautiful courtyard garden in the sunshine!" (99926376)
Our room was delightful, overlooking a beautiful courtyard. The bedroom and bathroom were first class, and immaculately clean. White towelling robes, sky tv, mini bar, extra pillows and blankets. A most relaxing stay!

"very pleasant hotel. Room was spacious, clean, everything good quality. Did not have dinner there. Breakfast excellent. Staff polite, friendly. Good location. Lovely town. Would definitely return and recommend it to others. Parking could be difficult and should have known beforehand that it costs 8 euros per night. But only minor irritation." (99544235)

"Montreuil is convenient for trips into Le Touquet and the hotel is in a very quiet area. Car parking in the courtyard requires skill and determination! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, and appreciate the British sense of humour. (When we were there, nearly all the guests were British.) We will stay there again on our next wine and cosmetics trip." (99114900)
We were accommodated in the newer part of the hotel; the room (3 beds) was spacious and the standard of the furnishings was excellent. Tea/coffee-making equipment is provided.
The beds - mattresses and pillows - were harder than we are used to.

"The hotel accommodation was very good, as was the staff. The secure parking seemed a little small, only accommodating about 5 cars, though there may perhaps have been other spaces that we were not made aware of. The food in the restaurant was very good and we enjoyed our meal, but it was perhaps a bit pricey. You may well be able to get as good but cheaper elsewhere. Having said that, the service was excellent." (99395655)
