"Before check in we requestet a crip. We got a brand new one without further charge. From the nice Lobby you have to cross very old looking hallways which have that smell of old wet rotten carpets. You get in front of your door and your about to turn around but still take a peak inside. A whole new world opens up. The room was much bigger than expected, the family room is sufficient for six people. The decoration is modern and has a classy flair. The furniture and the large bathroom were all brand new. A place where you can stay easily for a couple of weeks. Overall the room was of much higher quality and space we expected. The minibar prices were affordable, but the Hotel staff didn't mind to bring your own stuff from a supermarket. Breakfast in buffet style included a typical german selection with enough variety. Now the best thing about this Hotel, you step out and you are just around the corner from the shopping streets and the beautiful lake Alster (not even two minutes walk)." (99800530)
