Hotel is close to train and bus station and is easy to get to from airport. Room was large, fairly basic, but comfortable.
Bathroom needed some attention. Extractor fan rattled and toilet seat needed re-positioning.

"Das Hotel punktet sicherlich durch die hervorragende Lage - auch wenn man mit dem Zug anreist, ist es leicht erreichbar. Lounge-Bereich ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein." (99119867)
Einfache Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto, tolles Ambiente in der Lounge zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhige Zimmer
Eher unfreundliches Empfangspersonal an der Rezeption, Frühstück war für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr nüchtern und einfach.

intensiver Reinigungsmittelgeruch im Zimmer - nur durch permanenetes Offenhalten der Fenster beherrschbar! Handtücher am 6.5. schlecht saugend, stark Flusen abgebend

"Triest ist für Touristen ein schwieriges Pflaster. Die Oeffnungszeiten der Museen sind unklar und problematisch (schliessen öfters um 13 Uhr). Der Verkehr ist gigantisch, die Strassen sind von Möchtegern-Motorradrennfahrern bevölkert. Destinationen in Slowenien und Kroatien sind mit der Bahn für Tagesausflügler unerreichbar. Daneben gibt es sehr schöne Ausflugsziele (Duino, Miramare)." (99495879)
Bahnhofsnähe, gute Erreichbarkeit der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, Zimmer ruhig trotz zentraler Lage, geheiztes Badezimmer. An der Réception sehr nettes Personal.
Fantasieloses Frühstück, wenig geglückte Renovation (die alte Bausubstanz geschmacklos verändert).
