    "Most enjoyable." (97360874)

Clean, quiet & comfortable with an adequate breakfast. Excellent location only 5 mins. walk from Railway/Bus Station and 10 mins. walk from Market Square.

Pillows too thick. Lift extremely slow.

"Fair, but expencive for what you got. We have stayed in Better 3 Star Hotels, for less money in Prague & Budapest." (97532916)

Excellent location, only a few minutes walk from the Old Town. Breakfast offered a good selection of Cold items, as much as you could eat. We had one Standard Room & one Suite, which was a Great size compared to the Standard Rooms, & value for money, however, both had the same Bad Points.

For a Three Star Hotel, we were surprised there was No Mini Fridge or Tea & Coffee Facilities in the Room. When we asked for a Kettle one was provided with Cups but No Tea / Coffee etc. While the room was clean, the walls were Scuffed. Satellite Television, only had 'Bloomberg' in English.

    location

restaurant, a little to simple for a dinner, we went out. Would have appeciated a waterboiler for tea and coffee in the room

"Clean comfortable hotel. Our room at the back of hotel was quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. No hairdrier in the room but one is available from reception if required as is an iron. Bottled water provided in the room. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - juice, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread and rolls, pate, cheeses, cooked meats, preserves, sausages, scrambled eggs, tea and coffee. Staff on reception are very helpful and will advise the best way to get to places of interest." (97883620)

    Helpful staff.

"CAN ONLY REITERATE OTHER TRAVELLERS COMMENTS. THIS HOTEL IS IDEALLY SITUATED, WITH THE TRAIN STATION A SHORT FIVE MINUTES WALK AWAY. THE RESTURANT AND BAR IS UNINSPIRING AND NOT ALWAYS OPEN. HOWEVER THERE ARE A MULTITUDE OF RESTURANTS AND BARS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. TOURS CAN BE BOOKED A FEW DOORS DOWN THE STREET.A DISTINCT LACK OF ENGLISH SPEAKING CHANNELS ON THE TV AND BOTTLED WATER ONLY IS PROVIDED (TAKE A TRAVEL KETTLE) WILL DEFINATELY STOP HERE AGAIN ON OUR NEXT VISIT TO KRACKOW" (97463048)

    CENTRAL LOCATION

BAR AND RESTURANT NOT ALWAYS OPEN

"Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Hotel is on a busy road and next to a church and I found the traffic noise and church bells could be intrusive at times. Access to a less specialist English language TV channel would have been nice (Bloomberg has limited appeal). A bath would have been a nice to have. Breakfast was fine. Overall a positive experience." (97136123)

Staff were helpful and spoke v. good English.

Outside noise and lack of a decent English language TV channel

"Krakow is an interesting city but not a big one. You can easily cover the majority of sights, galleries etc in a couple of days. We went on the salt mine trip which was value for money but not overwhelming - avoided Auschwitz as a tour somehow seemed inappropriate. Krakopane comes highly recommended by Polish friends but we did not have time to visit as lost our first day in delayed flights and re-routed airport transfers - overall well worth a visit and easy on the pocket although the food is fairly hit or miss if you are going Polish!" (97839336)

Very central, very comfortable, warm and quiet. The breakfast facilities were excellent.

Could have displayed more tourist information for guests

"Overall our stay at the hotel was a pleasant and happy experience. It was quite warm and therefore would have appreciated the airconditioning in the bedroom. There were no tea/coffee making facilities which would have be appreciated, especially on arrival. It also would have been beneficial to have directions to the hotel from the train station, it was such a short distance but we ended up walking quite a long way before we discovered where we were staying. the staff were very accommodating and their English was excellent which was a bonus as our Polish is non existent! Thanks for a lovely stay." (99382006)

It was very central and accesible, nice breakfasts.

There was no air conditioning in the bedroom although it advertised as fully air conditioned.

"This hotel is really great for a weekend break and is reasonably priced. It's situated conveniently near to the old town so it's easy to get about. The room we had was really nice - light and airy, clean, plenty of space. The bathroom was also nice too with a great shower and plenty of hot water at all times. Only minor point - as we were at the front, we couldn't open the window at night as it was noisy, but we did have a view, so I guess you can't have everything. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, but it was lovely, plenty of choice to suit all tastes. In short - I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'd stay there again if I visit Krakow in the future." (99782498)

It was reasonably priced, the room was clean, neat and exactly what we needed.

Would have been nice to have a bath as well as a shower, but the shower was great, so not a problem.

"Krakow was lovely. Hotel very modern and 5 min walk to Centre. Was bed and breakfast. The breakfast was continental style and good choice. Plenty of restaurants for meals and Polish cuisine very tasty and cheap. Lots of bars etc for night time. Alcohol also very reasonably priced.Polish people very friendly and helpfull. We visited Auschwitz on guided tour(pick up few doors from our hotel so very convenient). Was an experience and glad we went. Our break was in February and it was dry, sunny but very cold.Expected this so went prepared, boots, gloves, scarf etc and it was no problem. Would recomend both Krakow and the Hotel and intend to return in the not too distant future.Very enjoyable way to spend a weekend!" (99986216)

The room was overlooking the front of the hotel and the square. Room very clean although a little on the small side

We were given a room at the back at first which overlooked other buildings and a disused yard. Not very nice outlook so asked to change. Did this with no problem but the next room was a little smaller. Still was short norice and they did accomodate our requst so cant complain.Would recommend asking for room at front though if possible.

Cleanliness, excellent location, value for money

No tea/coffee making facilities and we also had to ask for a hairdryer.

"Very good value- very good location. Good breakfast" (99676134)

Very good location near station and main city centre. Very comfortable room and bed.

Nothing really- bar was a little dull and quiet but no real problem as other bars very near

"The hotel was in a great location to explore Krakow. It would have been better if we could have had a hot choice of breakfast, but there was plenty of other foods yoghurt, cheese, ham, etc. A very enjoyable stay." (99066446)

The spaceous room and the helpful reception staff, as we did not speak any polish, they were very helpful.

We would have liked to have tea/coffee facilities in the room

"generally we had a good stay but think the third bed in a room for three adults should have been a proper bed - this was not clear when booking" (97114062)

    convenient warm good breakfast

the third bed in our room for three was a camp bed with broken slats the shower head had to be held
