  Clean & comfortable. Pleasant staff

  There was quite a bit of traffic noise as our room was at the front of the hotel even though we were on the sixth floor.

  "The hotel barcelona universal was in an excellent location,very clean and the rooms were excellent.the staff were superb and very helpful with anything you required.the food was very good,but would have liked to have a tea/coffee in something that was slightly bigger than the shot glass they served it in.apart from that the whole stay was excellent and we would recommend to anybody!!"   "Hotel very clean and friendly. Staff always helpful and obliging. Unfortunately one room was at front of hotel and proved quite noisy on main Rd at night. Not a particularly convenient location, only limited cafe s bars near by and not particularly 'up market' although we did venture into streeet cafe nearby for paella which was beautiful. Also as visiting with elderly parents was quite a long walk to Las Ramblas or the port for access to city tours Rooms could have benefitted from tea/coffee making facilities. However on the whole when looking at cost, hotel facilities and staff, a very pleasant stay. Would recommend with reservation of locality." (99640897)

  staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and well kept. Towels and bedding changed daily

  Room at front of hotel was quite noisy at night on busy main road. Also reasonable length of walk to Central points, not good when travelling with elderly parents.

  mi è piaciuto tantissimo la camera per l'ampiezza e la posizione strategica del hotel

  non mi è piaciuto tanto il personale dell'hotel, sgarbato e non disponibile, la piscina piccola a brutta e palestra idem

  "Location was outside the centre but there was a metro station right outside the door. Hotel was one of the better ones I have stayed in. I was very pleased with the room. I would recommend this hotel. Only negative was the WIFI connection and the bar was not very welcoming. Car park was difficult to negotiate." (99070644)

  Room was spacious, music system in the room, good working surface but Wifi inoperatable

  Car park too small. WIFI BAD !!!!

  chambre ne donnant pas sur l'extérieur, voisinage bruyant, petit déjeuner moyen
