Near to the centre of town & rail station.

Room was quite small. The door locking seemed out dated. There was noise from other guests until 1am

"Too noisy, you have to always ask someone to get the air conditionning in function, the reimbursed three night I cancelled and CHARGED taxes for the very period I cancelled." (99153118)

    Well situated

    Confort beneath pretentions

"The location was easy to find by Google Earth but information about the singel traffic lanes in advance would have been og great assistance as it was a bit tricky to find ones way to the hotel from where we approached. Luckily I had a full protection for the car as I had a scrach on the bumper when I tried to park in the very narrow garage. This information could be of help to other people arriving by car.No blame on the hotel , it was my own business to juge the space in the garage." (99617643)

The friendliness of the staff, the silent room and the spacious and clean localities.

The continental beds are too hard for my liking but that seems to be the case everywhere in Spain and Portugal.

"A usefully located city centre hotel offering good, basic value. Standard of cleanliness is excellent - efficient room staff. Front desk staff unfailingly pleasant. Have stayed here 3 times but unlikely to again due to interrupted nights sleep - noise from street and adjoining rooms." (99441937)

    Very pleasant professional staff.

Rooms can be extremely noisy - walls are very thin and every word and movement from adjoining rooms and streets below can be heard!

"Overall Hotel Goya is clean and friendly, the staff are very efficient. However it is a walk from the beach and the action (technically only 1300 metres to the coastline but over a 2250 metres (a mile and a half) to get to the actual promenade and the beach with sand. Don't stay here if you like the beach on your doorstep! although I did lose a bit of weight with all the walking!" (99741261)

Clean accomodation and friendly staff. Kind and accomodating, didn't complain when I came back a bit tipsy and ordered us a very quick taxi to the airport. The lift worked. The blackout curtains were very efficient!

The tiniest shower cubicle in the history of the whole world and I am by no means fat! The balcony could do with a sweep and a lick of paint, that was pretty crusty. Also the walls are thin so take earplugs! And don't expect amazing aircon. My favourite Egyptian nightie went missing too - not impressed.

"Had we have known the difficulties in parking around the hotel we would proberbly not have booked this hotel." (99792871)

    Clean and tidy

Parking in the local streets is nigh on impossible

"The hotel is good for the price you pay, do not however expect a lot. The decoration and furniture have all seen better days. The check in staff are helpful and friendly. I only stayed there as I was passing through Alicante and needed a place to rest my head for one night so it was ideal for me. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the marina and less to the shopping area, bus station and train station." (99910562)

The hotel was fairly basic but it was what I expected for the price I paid. It was well located in the shopping area of Alicante.

The furniture and decoration is looking tired and could be better.

Sauber, ordentlich, korrekt." (99034759)

Sauber, einfach, zentral gelegen, ruhig.
