"This is a great little hotel close to the things one would like to see. The Prado area is a very short walk away. It is close to the action but the action does not impact on you. The hotel is very clean .... the bathroom is nice and has good space ... the beds are comfortable. The only complaint I have is I asked for an iron (twice) but never got one. Do not expect an American type breakfast here .... no eggs. The European type breakfast is not bad but is not the hotels high point. I had never been to Madrid. I booked 4 hotels and then cancelled 3 before the deadline (booking.com is great). While in Madrid I looked at the hotels I cancelled and I was happy that I had chosen this one. all in all ... I would say that this is a great hotel for the price and if I return to Madrid I will stay here again (without breakfast)." (46086175)
The Hotels location is wonderful. It is very close to the action but is quiet. The people who stay here seem to be of a upper and queit nature. Not a party hotel. The hardwood floors in the hotel are beautiful.
If you want anything close to a American breakfast (no eggs).... it would be better not to take the meal plan.

"We were impressed with how quiet this hotel was, even though we were there on a holiday weekend. The decor was modern and the bathroom was very up-to-date with a wonderful shower. We were able to walk everywhere... to the museums, shops, Plaza Mayor and lots of restaurants. Staff was helpful with directions and requests, and their English was great." (99101079)
Location was good, near lots of shops and restaurants, and close to several Metro stops. Room was very good, bathroom impressive. Staff was helpful and spoke good English.

Confort + propreté + accueil.
Les chambres donnant sur la rue sont bruyantes.

Great location, helpful staff, modern rooms, great bathroom.
Room facing interior was very dark, but quiet.
